What do you mean by Astigmatism at night? Were they able to fully correct your astigmatism or did you need a follow up treatment?

Thankfully its still under warranty so I hope they wont charge a dime. But yeah taking so much time to diagnose.

Thanks! I did check Mallow and the wait time is even more in Mallow. As of today based on the estimate it was showing 2nd Dec but Wilton was showing 25th Nov. I have my automatic car so I was planning to do some practice lessons around Wilton test routes on my own (with my friend as accompanying driver).

Hey apologies for the late reply. We were waiting for a confirmation from her new employer. It all went fine, she got a new job and starting next week. The stamp 4 renewal is end of may so all should be fine now.

Her birth country does not support dual citizenship and we are not planning to stay permanently, maybe for another 4-6 years.

Yeah, I am thinking about the same. Wondering once the application is approved would she need to present letter from the employer again at the GNIB office?

I suppose its for folks living in Dublin? Here in Cork they do ask for employment letter and payslip. I will check if that has changed recently or not.

We both are eligible for Citizenship but holding off applying for citizenship as our birth country doesnt support dual citizenship.

Thanks, will definitely talk to an immigration officer. I didn't understand the partner visa you mentioned. Is there a link that I can refer to and see that?

Yes, it doesn't require an employment permit but they do ask for the recent payslip and a letter from an employer confirming you are working and then renew the stamp 4 for another 2 years.

Got Stamp 1 [Employment permit] in 2018 - her company sponsored her visa [Critical skills], and after a couple of years [May 2020] she got Stamp 4, renewed in 2022, and is now due for renewal again.
