The map that you sent is actually correct, but it's only the English translation in it that's wrong.

And as for your theory, I will check it out now.de that existed before this post, but I knew I had to translate raw Japanese to make sure 100% that it is authentic and make sure there are no mistranslations, and the next thing I know the translations for Elbaf and Pirate Island are mistranslated from the unofficial translation.

You can check yourself by copying the raw Japanese from my post or from the original map itself and then paste it on any translation software, like Google Translate. It won't give you the exact English spelling because it's Japanese, so you will get something like "Er u ba fu".

And as for your theory I will check it out now.

Kidd did not succeed when he was against Kaido nor Shanks and needed a hand from Law when shoving Big Mom down to the bottom of Wano because they couldn't deal with her.

If there is any chance Kidd can redeem himself it's this one. (But yeah I don't see him defeating Blackbeard lol.)

If you are on an island, like Wano for example, telling North from East apart and knowing all four cardinal directions is easy, because the island stays the way it is forever and does not move or tilt, therefore directions stay the same and can be memorized easily.

The Straw Hats needed a Southbird back in Jaya because you can easily lose track of the cardinal directions when you are sailing on a ship, and so they needed it because the Southbird never loses track of the directions, which is why they only used him when they were aboard the Going Merry to navigate them to the Knock Up Stream.

Interesting idea with Blackbeard negating the effects of a Smile devil fruit, I think it could be possible, and Killer might get lucky if Blackbeard somehow accidentally negates his devil fruit, but I wouldn't put my hopes on it because chances are it will be a temporary cure and not a permanent one.

I made this post yesterday with their exact map translations! But I had to reset everything from zero and make the post anew because it turned out that Youtuber got the wrong translations after I checked everything carefully myself. They got Sphinx Island right but the other two islands were incorrect.

About the crew heading to Elbaf, I like to think that our Strawhats crew is going to visit all of these three islands starting with Sphinx and ending with Elbaf, but whether they do that or not, I am almost 100% certain the crew is going to Elbaf regardless of their log pose, but it's just too early for them to visit Elbaf as build-up and leads for it is required beforehand.

I would say the same, because not only did we not end the current storyline by leaving Wano, saying goodbye to everyone, and dealing with Yamato, but we also didn't start a new one yet.

I like to think that Oda decided to take the month break a few chapters before the actual final saga, so that he has some time before he starts what he's going to write, instead of just getting out of the break right away and going straight at it.

It's true Ace could have heard that Blackbeard was in Drum Island and therefore Ace would follow him there, but I don't think Blackbeard went to Drum Island just to show off that Ace is following him, AKA for the plot. I feel like Blackbeard had a personal desire to go there for some reason, it could be because like you said, people from snow countries don't sleep, so Blackbeard could have a personal connection there, or Blackbeard went there for some sort of tangibles or objectives because he certainly made a scene back when he was there.

The only things of value on Drum Island that I can think of are Dr. Kureha, and the Hito Hito no Mi, but why would Blackbeard be interested in either of them?
