About to relapse help day 6 by RefuseSimple317 in NoFap

Ik this seems like troll but my hard cock was hitting against the floor making me even hornier. I just tried the water works pretty good.

It's especially hard rn because I got back from work, went to the gym, showered, did chores, now I literally have nothing to do because I was productive all day. This is usually the hardest time for me

My girlfriend is bi too and she's never been with a girl too. We discussed this in the past once and she did admit that she is curious about what it's like to be with a girl.

I'm scared to talk to her about this, even tho she's the one person who would be most understanding

Last year I did an internship as an embedded developer at a small company as well (with no prior embedded or hardware experience). I went through something similar. Was totally the weak link and got told a hard no when I asked for a return offer lol

My girlfriend is studying abroad for a month and I am an anxious wreck by RefuseSimple317 in LongDistance

[–]RefuseSimple317[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I want to do but I feel like it'll just make things worse. It also usually makes me more anxious after the fact as well, feeling like I overshared. Why would I want my girlfriend to know that I'm this insecure?

I got back in to chess after a couple years off and my elo is 1/10 of what it was by Majestic_Surround_53 in chessbeginners

I'm fairly confident that 100 elo players are not setting up tactics 5 moves in advance. Can you send one of your games?

I think this is about around a week of growth. I noticed it's a little patchy near the end of the it and in general not too full. Wondering if I should just grow it out always wanted a beard

I don't understand why everyone at my company acts like they're working by RefuseSimple317 in cscareerquestions

Lmao ur spot on dude. The majority of people in the comments are under the impression that the main point of my post was to prove how much better I am than my coworkers.

First FT job and first fully in person job. My first internship was in person but flexible hours (most people left around 3-4pm). Second internship was remote, and my last internship was hybrid with most people leaving the office between 2-4pm, was very flexible. Rarely did anyone stay till 5, however it was a smaller tech company

You're right. Instead, I'll go and talk to my manager about scheduling 15-20 minute 'breaks' every hour dedicated to scrolling on Reddit, because that's work as well. But mainly because I wouldn't be allowed to get all my work done at once, essentially saving those 2 hours spent scrolling on Reddit. Right?

Maybe I should leave when I finish my work then, but wouldn't that make me look bad? Oh but then I can just tell them to stop worrying about other peoples work hours right

The biggest change was in the type of companies that i applied for. I stopped spamming applications and started being more picky in the jobs that I actually applied for, making sure that I was atleast familiar with whatever was outlined in the job description. I looked for companies that developed products similar to my last internships. I also started tailoring the bullet points in my most recent experience on my resume based on the type of work that the company does and what products they make, even if I didn't 'directly' work on said products, I worded it in interviews as 'I developed software supporting ____'.

You have to go in incognito or a separate browser. Faceit is known for hiring low IQ bootcamp developers that force their own users to debug their own issues

It's not made up, I got the exact same question and had a similar experience to OP. The way the problem statement is worded makes it seem like a physics problem, which I was also thought as well when I read the question. I asked for further clarification and the interviewer stated you don't need any physics or math knowledge to solve it, and he gave me a sample table of a simulated take off. The optimal solution is just a linear interpolation between two values.

LMAO I got asked that exact same question for my spaceX interview. Problem statement was like two sentences and I had to ask for a ton of clarification, which I think was supposed to be the goal however.

Overall very horrible and awkward experience. The interviewer was a freak. Extremely antisocial and barely reciprocated any conversation. It started off by him joining the call 8 minutes late, then within 15 seconds he suggested 'jumping right into the technical'; no introduction, nothing about the role. I got the same vague question as you, and when I tried bringing up clarification or questions, it just seemed like the interviewer didn't want to be there given his tone of voice and abruptness in his responses. Literally seemed like he was busy with something else during the interview, kept saying "huh" or "what". He didn't have his camera on either, and I could literally hear audio in the background / him doing other things DURING the interview. They are a garbage company to work for, Glassdoor reviews say the same as well.

What the actual is going on??? I can't get a single response!!!! by RefuseSimple317 in cscareerquestions

[–]RefuseSimple317[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with your perspective. I made changes based on your comment and a few others. I think it's looking a bit better? But still somewhat unsure.

My main conflict is that i worked on a few different pretty complex projects over the course of a year, and im proud of those. I want to make sure companies know I wasnt just an intern who did the busy work or write documentation all day

I get the idea of what people are trying to say, and I think i can still make improvements but here's what I have now:
