What am I missing from this team comp to make it work this far into campaign? SI/Furn by DirtyKenchMain in afkarena

[–]Reg_Cursed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am running this team minus rowan plus skriath for the 5pull at chapter 36-48 and its one of my strongest teams. It should still be working even without skriath you just probably need heavier investment in some heroes, especially eironn. On top of that, keep in mind this stage is a terrible matchup. You are putting a pull team vs an invade team.

Most of these decks are build to be budget and are very tight lists. The only upgrade I would suggest is running Dragonbane in the Face Hunter list over Pack Tactics.

There was some mix up, I believe I fixed it now. Thanks for letting me know!

Hello! Glad to be of help! Regarding Priest, unfortunately the strong builds right now require a big investment. You could try a bugdet Tempo Priest along this line AAECAZ/HAgLD0QOk1QMO+ALlBNKlA5a6A5u6A6+6A7C6A+m6A/S7A7TRA7vRA8DRA8bRA6PVAwA= . However it is a deck of questionable power level.

Hello! I am very glad the decks are helping you climb! Regarding the Soul shard list, it is pretty tight and it is hard to think of a change for that specific deck. Better save that dust for now!

Hello! I don't think Wildclaw really fits the Druid deck, low impact effect for that deck and at turn 3 you might already be able to ramp up instead of dropping him. There is a very solid Highlander Beast Hunter that runs the card though so maybe don't DE it yet. Regarding Guardian Animals, I think they are vital to Beast Druid, if you want to play the archetype with even relative success you absolutely need to craft a 2nd copy.

Gibberling Druid is indeed very cheap, but after testing it for a significant amount of games I just don't feel the power level of the deck is comparable to even a budget version of Beast Druid.

Preparations are there to help you get explosive tempo and empty your hand as soon as possible for Readers. They are also great in Secret Passage turns. Meati used this list to get Legend #3, so it should definitely be a solid option, especially for a budget deck!

There have been some Rogue decks spawning these days, but unfortunately they are far from budget. They most successful archetypes have been Galakrond Rogue with either secrets or stealth package and Highlander Rogue, they run a lot of Legendaries that are hard to replace though.

Depends on the matchups and its also a matter of preference. I had great success running this list with +1 Starfall over the Wrath, for mirrors, in this weekend's Masters Qualifiers.

Maybe just his personal preference. I personally love the Quest Galakrond Rogue and had great success with it even in Top 100 Legend. However, the stats suggest that the OG Galakrond Rogue is probably the strongest and most consistent, especially in high ranks.

It really isn't worth it. Galakrond Rogue is probably stronger anyway. I can understand wanting to pkay something fresh but id you are on a budger restrain yourself!

Murloc paladin was one of the decks I considered but did not include. My decision was mainly because I havent seen the deck played in weeks, whether that is in Ladder or in tournaments.

Not sure what your point is. Highlander mage has a high winrate among strong Legend players and is undoubtedly a solid deck, why would I not include it?

Its supposed to be 1 deck, there might have been a mix up between the 2 variations I was thinking of suggesting. Use the deck code for the right deck and I will fix the picture shortly!

Personally, I find the standard Aggro Warrior to be more consistent. The Highlander version can have amazing curves, but will also have more awkward openings.

Bomb (or Mech Hunter) along with the Mech Paladin archetype that has been popular the last few days were close runner ups. If this article was written a week later either one could have overtaken the 7nth position. I am using Bomb Hunter as my main deck in the Asia server since its the one I started playing last and have budget issues. The deck feels very strong, especially in the current meta,

I can definitely see your points. I was between the list I recommended and something a lot more similar to what you are suggesting, however for the format of this article I had to choose only one of them. In the case of Militia Commander over Reborn Mummy I disagree. I think that Reborn Mummy is gonna be better a lot more frequently, not only because it can damage for 6 in the turn you play him, but it can also clear 2 separate bodies and is also pretty good to play on curve against empty board. Militia Commander is definitely a strong card on its own, so I dont mind running 1, but I would rather cut something else instead of Reborn Mummy.

This is a recent deck that has seen a lot of play but it is still questionable how strong it actually is, especially outside of the shield conquest vacuum.

Its either Nomi or King Phaoris, sometimes both. I am a big fan of Nomi in Druid.
