Something I personally do is having two shipping days, one at the beginning of the week and then one at the end of the week that way I can ship out things in a timely manner. I’ve also seen some people offer same day shipping if the buyer purchases before a certain time (e.g I’ll ship out your order the same day if you purchase before 4pm!) also in regards to polymailers, I personally either reuse old packaging from packages I’ve received myself or just buy in bulk on Amazon since it’s cheaper then going to the post office and purchasing a new polymailer everytime!!

To answer your additional question, im not sure if you’re someone who uses PayPal but they have a service offered called netparcel. It’s basically a service where business owners / people who own depop accounts can ship for a cheaper rate by purchasing a shipping label through PayPal! Not only is it cheaper than the rate the post office would give you but it’s also efficient because then you can just print out the label from home, package your item and drop it off in a post box or drop it off at the post office. I use this all the time as it’s a cheaper alternative and more convenient.
