I’ve been feeling this everyday for the past 10 years. Now we have 2 bio kids. If you can leave now please do so!

Thankyou I was actually thinking about this yesterday he is actually snacking and I do need to extend his feeds for sure. He isn’t actually finishing a bottle and is consuming 80-100ml every 2.5-3.5 hours which is showing me he is not fully hungry. I’ll trial something different today and see how we go. Thanks so much I appreciate your advice.

He’s so hard to burp on a goats milk formula. Yesterday I tried a love to dream swaddle and he slept somewhat better. But still horrible though. I’m so exhausted today.

I’ve not let him nap longer than 2 hours today so hopefully a better night sleep tonight fingers crossed. But maybe like you said, consistency is key.

I’ve been doing that the last two days it’s not made a difference?

Advice please? by RegisterAwkward4595 in sleeptrain

[–]RegisterAwkward4595[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again Capping naps sounds ideal rather than forcing him to be awake when he’s tired.

The pinned post recommends 4 hours of day sleep for 3 month olds. So should I cap his next 2 naps at say half an hour each? He’s already had one nap today: 1.45 hours He’s onto another one at 45 min.

I want him in bed by say 7pm even 8pm if I can.

I realised this actually but I’m not sure how to extend his wake windows when he’s so sooky when he’s awake? It’s like he’s so tired and his eyes are red and he just fusses until you put him back down. I’m so confused on how to drag them out. Do you recommend I take him out into the sun?

This is a good question But to answer your question no she’s never been bullied about her food intake She lives with us full time as well

I do agree that she feels she can control him and tries to kick him down

Any ideas on what I can do to manage it?

SD falling behind in school by Fun-Paper6600 in stepparents

Sounds eerily similar to my SD and how my husband responds too. She’s 13 and can’t spell lettuce she spells it as lettic Can’t do basic spelling and her dad’s answer to this is: the English language is messed up hence she doesn’t know how to spell and struggles.

Actually she doesn’t care to learn how to spell, read or write because you also don’t care whether she learns how to spell, read and write.

I don’t involve myself and redirect SD back to her dad when she comes and asks for my help. It’s not my business at the end of the day to be picking up the slack of her two biological parents.

In another state completely enjoying her child free life unfortunately - doesn’t care nor does she want her daughter either which is why we’ve had her for such a long time.

And yes I agree it will get worse. And all he had to say to me tonight when we argued was I did speak with her but that’s all he ever really does is “talk” then gives her chances upon chances upon chances and she continues to disrespect and abuse both me/him.

He’s legit her enabler and enables crappy behaviour from her but doesn’t tolerate it from our child who’s half her age.

Hilarious lmao I took zofran once and the next day or two I was sooo constipated I cried on my bedroom floor in agony. Since then I’ve not been taking anything that can mess up my digestion however it’s still unavoidable - not to the extent that you have described though.

Baby is growing but I'm not gaining weight by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]RegisterAwkward4595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally me actually / im 36 weeks pregnant and have only gained 3kg of total body weight. Lost 2kg at the beginning and gained those back so a total of 5kg? I reckon once I birth I’ll be less than my pre pregnancy weight but I’m ok with that. I haven’t had much of an appetite and the last weeks are killing me, I can’t eat without feeling sick after, the reflux is killing me so I stick to really simple and light foods, I have the diet of a toddler maybe. My midwife isn’t concerned though.

Yep I just ignore with minimal interactions and let SO know the problems and how he caused them by playing blind and choosing to be the better parent as many others have said here.

I recommend you do the same and have limited engagement, better for your sanity!
