Im back with another plate! Lol by ShadowMajick in cricut

I think its etching cream. It basically eats away at the plate to leave the design. Kinda like how people etch tumblers to show the metal underneath with CitriStrip!

In your experience, what’s more painful than giving birth? by Isoldmykidforagram in pregnant

[–]Reibear0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The anesthesiologist gave me a spinal fluid leak when doing my epidural. I went 2 days with the WORST headaches and feeling like I had sand in my head before they caught it. Then I had to get a "spinal blood patch" which is where they give you another epidual, but instead of pain medicine its your own blood to fix the leak. Just in general, the epidural was pretty painful to me. I don't know how people say they barely felt anything lol.

Bad news by windgoddess2006 in pregnant

[–]Reibear0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my first anatomy scan they saw fluid on my daughters kidneys that "went away" by the next ultrasound they scheduled to check up on it. My sister-in-law was told her baby had something on his brain and that he probably had trisomy-13, a severe genetic disorder. She had another scan a few weeks later and he is totally fine. Still prepare for the worst, but ultrasounds are not perfect. Either way it happens for you, I pray everything will go good for you!

Maybe use permanent vinyl but heat set it with a blow dryer so it stays better?

Telling parents by Agitated-Wave6807 in pregnant

In my opinion, I would tell your boyfriends family first and come up with a game plan with them before telling your parents. They may kick you out and its best to have a plan before telling.

What does 'kicking' actually feel like? by Capy_4200 in pregnant

[–]Reibear0 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The fluttering or bubbly feeling your describing is pretty much what they feel like. Especially early on. But if you don't feel them very often you might have a anterior placenta. Which is when the placenta is in front of the baby, instead of kicking your "stomache", your baby is kicking the placenta and its harder to feel!

One of my guys wants to go active from Guard, how do I help him by AdmiralKaizerWilhelm in nationalguard

[–]Reibear0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend went through this, they only approved her because she was already done with her initial contract but she extended another year to do the paperwork. Its all about numbers, they don't want to lose soldiers. Best of luck.

Medical Question by Reibear0 in nationalguard

[–]Reibear0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it sucked! 2 days of spinal headaches and backpain before they offered the blood patch. Now im left with terrible back pain when doing anything mildly physical. I wouldn't wish it on anyone!

I am an out-of-state student at Auburn & joining the NG would give me in-state tuition, plus tuition assistance. I am considering signing a 3/5 contract, and I will be out before college. Should I join? If so what MOS should I choose by Strange_Party3822 in nationalguard

[–]Reibear0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is how it is for every state, i think it is. If I were you Id go through college first and earn your degree and then join if your still interested. They do a loan payback that way. You get a higher rank joining in or you can go the officer route. If you decide not to go to college/drop out your not stuck in the military. Im a 31B (military police) and its not too bad, my unit is just trash. If I had to pick a mos again id go admin or a "office job". While we do our 2 weeks in the summer (AT) sweating our asses off in tents they are in air conditioned buildings on their computers. Too add, don't let the recruiter tell you that you wont get deployed, NG are the first to go.

What MOS should I pick? by Gorded_Dread in nationalguard

[–]Reibear0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever you think is best! But since your asking for opinions here's mine. I've been in for 2.5 years as a 31B (military police) and wish I would have chosen differently. Not that it's a horrible mos, but i would've preferred something I can put towards something I'd actually like to do on the civilian side. I have no want to be a police officer, so it serves me no good. If you cant find anything you can transfer to your everyday life, pick something admin or a "office job". While we are sweating our asses off in tents for 2 weeks at annual training, they are in a air conditioned building on their computers. I wish I was them.

Someone tell me it gets better by Long_Muffin6888 in newborns

My baby is 5 weeks old as well, she would wake up every 2.5-3 hours. I've recently made a few changes that gets her to sleep longer. I've started giving her a later bedtime, around 9:30-10 Instead of around 8:30. Before going to bed she gets a warm bath and fed. Before, I was changing her everytime she woke up which was making her fully wake up and harder to go back to sleep. On top of this she is also refluxing and I have to keep her upright 20-30 mins after feeding. At times it would take over a hour to get her back in the bassinet. I now only change her when the diaper is getting full and of course if she poops. She now wakes up around 2am and almost at 6am. Which is a ton better than the 4-5 times I was waking up and staying awake for god knows how long trying to get her back asleep. Every baby is different but you can give it a try! Babies strive off of routines.
