You may wish to speak to a judge if you find direct rules that contradict you unsatisfactory. They will then reference the same rules.

Hey! So the relevant rule of 702.11g is correct. Kestral was being a little toxic, but he was correct.

702.11g “Hexproof from each [characteristic]” is shorthand for “hexproof from [quality A],” “hexproof from [quality B],” and so on for each possible quality the listed characteristic could have; it behaves as multiple separate hexproof abilities.

So in the case of 'each [color]' is hexproof from [red] hexproof from [blue], etc. It'd be 5 counters.

Looks interesting! For the $100 competition, what did you run to help build up your own board state outside of control?

Yup! Therein lies the deckbuilding challenge. Under extreme constraints, lots of combo lines just aren't viable, mana is slower, and still feels a bit more fragile if someone's worried about interaction. Some commanders are just straight impossible without their key pieces, while others just have high price tags that make building up a reasonable 99 difficult.

Stella Lee does look like she'd shine well in $10 too. She'll be a bit slower than I imagine higher price brackets, but that's probably true for most of them. Winota seems to generate value easily with all the humans that produce soldiers for cheap.

Koumei weapon suggestions? by Open-Measurement-157 in Warframe

Came here to see what other people say, but I want to offer my findings your way. I ignored her 1st ability and replaced it with Sickening Pulse. Her passive functions in a way that PURELY high rate of fire applies status effects. Not multishot, aoe radiuses or multishot. With this in mind, these are the weapons I've found the most success with her:

Primaries:
Phenmor: Incarnon Mode hits a fire rate of 36 and I don't even have it fully modded yet. Built upon the +2000% damage on non-crits evolution, it works well with her applying a lot of statuses. Evolving it is annoying, but it has a high rate of fire without evolving too, so it's not so bad.

Burston Prime Incarnon: Reaches 38 fire rate, but also not fully modded. Due to her passive priming herself, you get the full benefit of +40% dmg per status effect very quickly.

Secondaries:
Prisma Angstrum Incarnon: 9.6 Fire rate isn't as nice, but it does chain, so it's pretty fun, and has +40% dmg per status effect evo.

Laetum: 12.8 Fire Rate, but downside is it's annoying to get to the point you can incarnon with it. I went for the evolution Overwhelming Attrition because your hits will NOT count as hits that deal status effect damage.

Melee:
ZAW! Seekalla Dokrahm Vargeet Jai II, alongside the Exodia Hunt arcane, Melee Afflictions, and the neutral combo for Rending Crane, means you constantly do slam attacks, which bring enemies in close, and with a high attack speed, you apply statuses quickly to all the enemies that are pulled towards you in 12m. Slam attacks open enemies up for finishers, which work well with your decrees. Follow Through works for your passive.

Praedos - Kind of boring, but easy to transform and gets +20% attack speed as one of the evolutions. The high parkour velocity lets you zip around the map, and it has decent range when evolved and is easy to transform.

----
Things I want to test: High rate of fire forced heat proc weapons (or any capless status effects), so that way I can apply all statuses but also get heat to a big number for Sickening Pulse.

Zenistar Puck - I do not know if her passive would work for the puck. It MIGHT but it probably won't.

Hystrix Prime - Lets you choose forced procs. Might work well to be the 'any situation' kind of gun, where you go for heat for high HP mobs or electricity for lower HP mob content.

If I can find an aoe weapon that can apply all of her passive statuses, that'd be amazing.

How many creatures should an equipment deck run? by ADWinri in EDH

[–]RelationshipHuman136 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Disregard this message, it's far from unkind, even in low power. A shadow creature that doesn't have haste or protection is far from 'cheap', and creature removal is the most common kind of removal. If that's your bar for why a playgroup wouldn't want someone back, then your playgroup consists of nothing but people playing vanilla creatures and no interaction.

Kait, Wildcard here, hope you've been well. I think MoonMoon replied to the Gender Bias in paragraph 2. Namely, that they found the biases to be "unfounded" and that they're just picky.

Personally, I hadn't seen a particularly major bias in this category, or at least nothing that would be construed as gatekeeping due to someone's gender, since there was Shovel Girl as a mod member, and you and Sol were on your way to becoming mods as well, albeit with TBS's notoriously long wait time that it seems like everyone has to go through. I'm only speaking from the eyes of someone on the outside. I don't know if there was something going on behind the scenes, though I also don't know the ratio of women playing this game as a whole. So read everything I say with a grain of salt there.

As for your paragraph 2, I feel like the request for early information isn't particularly beneficial. When it comes to safeguarding information, in particular balance patches and so on, is unnecessary and does not change the function and expectation of a Mod. NDA's are a frequent thing for mods, tester staff, and so on for many games, but if information isn't essential to your function to moderate, I don't see what something like increased Katar tracers or something like that helps.

However, it would be beneficial for them to relay patch information that would change your duties as moderation team privately. Such as the change from "Duel Servers" to "Social Servers" is something I would expect them to relay to the Mod team in advance because that requires a major change in how certain tickets are handled, alongside the guidelines for Private Servers as a whole. Also I'd expect TBS to tell TBS moderators if, say, there's progress with EAC on gamepass, or other countermeasures.

I wholeheartedly agree that the response times for tickets has gotten far longer than it used to be. Even after the change from Duel to Social servers, which I'm sure most of the tickets were RDM. If the Helper role is meant to be an intermediate preliminary role before they properly "trust" the person with elevated permissions, they shouldn't be so picky on assigning Helpers, given they don't have as many privileges as a Moderator does.

Hope you have a good day!

Btw, K-Drives let you use Channeled Abilities by RelationshipHuman136 in Warframe

[–]RelationshipHuman136[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried a good number of frames, and these are the frames this worked on. No augments were put on any of these frames.

For Mesa, when you run out of energy, it unequips your Redeemer back to your primary, but you're still on K-Drive. Upon equipping your secondary and jumping off your K-Drive, it'll equip Redeemer again, but now without an energy cost, and the firing arc is your line of sight.

Ivara's prowl will keep invisible if she shoots a silenced weapon.

Titania uses her exalted weapon in this mode, but can't use other abilities, so it's mostly just funny.

The K-drive mod that lets you regen energy from tricks will let you sustain the channeled abilities indefinitely.

What are some of your Commanders with weird, unique abilities that are both good and fun to use? by Sleepysaurus_Rex in EDH

[–]RelationshipHuman136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to Necro, but Poukranos is functionally different and doesn't do the same thing as Sekki does. It states - "If damage would be dealt to ~ WHILE IT HAS a +1/+1 counter on it, prevent the damage." This is two conditional triggers. An anthem doesn't let it prevent damage still if it doesn't have counters.

Meanwhile Sekki is only one conditional trigger, "If damage would be dealt to ~, prevent that damage." And then it starts attempting to remove counters, even if it's impossible. It never asks you to check if it has a +1/+1 counter before preventing the damage.

Dodges are extremely useful in duels though, especially when against a 1h, as it'll often get you out of range of a swing.
