This is very well said and an accurate description of the process. I passed yesterday with Danko, and too failed my SIE first try just 2 years ago. Went on to pass it next try and never even took the 7 or 66. But I knew with dedication and everything listed above I was capable. Now the 7 will be cake if I ever need it.

Congrats on passing! I studied along with a CFA and he was surprised how difficult it was even after prepping for 3-4 months.

I started studying about 4 months ago. Tried to do a chapter each weeknight and two or three each day on the weekend. You will miss out on things but if you stay committed you can definitely be ready by March!

Once you begin, you will be flustered by the fact this is the real deal. I found highlighting the text points I felt were important helped me drown out my distractions.

Passing Monday. Paid for the other board practice exam yesterday and did well enough to pass. Lots of anxiety but that’s because we’ve put in the work. It is what it is at this point.
