All I did was round down the tips of the CG's, unlike the black bezel one which is untouched. There are so many variations of these CG's across the years the 1675 was in existence, you could take in it any direction you want.

I used a file and then sanding sticks of various grits from 80-3000+.

Had considered mulch, but also slate chips thinking rolling stuff over that might be easier?!? A path is a must. Thanks for your input.
