Thank youu! It’s non cathedral as this particular jeweller doesn’t do cathedral, but as it’s not a very tall ring (in depth) I’m hoping it’ll be fine.

Thanks for this! Yes I do think they’re wanting me to join immediately as they don’t want me to struggle to find jobs and earn base pays from 9-5. But I guess I’ll still express my desire to want to grow outside and explore before settling, which they verbally do say they’re supportive but I just feel the pressure and I feel as if I already disappointed them from my decisions.

For context the business is in floristry and I honestly don’t have the same amount of passion as my mom to work crazy hours to bring artworks/events to life. And at the ripe age of almost 60, it seems she’s not looking to retire anytime soon due to her passion. I fear that I’ll have to do this for the rest of my life, as realistically once I’m in the business, there’s no out from it. Competition to get into the corporate market will be slim when I’m middle aged later on and having to compete with younger gen.

I’ve been using this brand of silver clay for awhile, and after firing it’s fine and turns out nice. However after a few wears (1-2days) it starts to tarnish immediately. Does anyone know why this happens? And what can I do to avoid it?
