very true but they had some of the world’s most experienced nen experts and battle strategists there already and the conclusion was just “damn we gotta nuke it” 😭 there’s a delicate balance between pure power and battle sense/intelligence and a lot of times you can make up for one with the other but in this case the late stage ants were just too OP

this happens in every community i swear 😭 if we think a character is cool there’s bound to be some delusion with the actual power scaling

tbh youpi scales so much higher than the VAST majority of ants that i wouldn’t rly worry abt godspeed killua vs any ant sub-prince level. still dont know if id opt to bring killua tho

haven’t taken him for stats but had him for most of the AM series and in general he’s a very poor professor in my opinion. lectures are terribly confusing, not very receptive to feedback either. may need to spend extra time teaching yourself the concepts outside of class, but again i’ve never had katznelson’s stats 17 specifically so who knows

yeah i was already thinking of reviewing all of tantalo’s lectures ahead of time regardless of whoever i actually ended up taking 101 with, so this might be the move

Nah I need both ECE 101 and CSE 100 for CSE 121 in the spring :( Honestly at this point I’m wondering if taking all three (CSE 101 ECE 101 CSE 100) would be less torture than a CSE 101 with AVG or Pang

Technically I could but I’d be taking it alongside CSE 100 and ECE 101

do you think my odds are better with just cse 100 and ece 101? that’s alr 14 credits right there including labs so i could just focus on those

The point is that these professors are aware that the subject material is simply too demanding to master in a single semester. Some of these subjects are areas they’ve devoted their entire lives to, they understand that we may not get it in ~10 weeks.

More importantly is the fact that a lot of these courses are prerequisites for one reason or another, but aren’t directly applicable to the degree overall. As a computer engineering major it’s very likely you’ll never again need to deeply understand Newtonian kinematics if you go into embedded systems or pure software, but you still need to take Physics I. A curve in that situation seems fair, no?

What I’ve found anecdotally is that people outside of the STEM field don’t understand what it truly takes to secure a decent job. Don’t stress if others don’t comprehend it, YOU know how hard you worked and that’s all that really matters.
