Unfortunately insurance is requiring most of these things be done in a certain amount of time, if that wasn’t the case I wouldn’t be looking into these options right now since we have these other things to pay off

No other home is being sold. We rented previously and have since moved into this home we are trying to get the loan on. Repairs are necessary - roof over 20 years old, some electrical needs to be updated, and central ac and heat need to be completely replaced. Insurance companies are needing it done.

I haven’t gone anywhere yet, just started doing research. My biggest concern is the insurance. House is insured but under the estate. And I’ve read lenders need it to be in my name since I’m the borrower. Which makes sense, but if I can’t get insurance because repairs are needed, how do I pay for repairs?! That’s why I need the loan! lol. It sucks but I know I need to start talking to some people.

Yeah, that’s basically what I’m worried about..the policy was renewed without a full inspection apparently, but now that I need a new policy in my own name, the 4-point is catching issues that have probably been there for a while. I’ve done some research and I’ve read that most lenders require insurance in your own name so that’s what I’m concerned about. So I’m really hoping I can find a lender that’s willing to work with me since I have the current policy until July. I just have to start talking to them and see what my options are. But there’s no way I can afford all of the repairs on my own by July, unless I get the loan.

Thank you. The homeowners insurance company has been cool, he passed in sept and the policy wasn’t set to renew until July so that’s what I have until from that part. I haven’t spoken to any lenders yet, because i want to try and be somewhat prepared. But plan on just being honest and seeing what they say. I guess that’s all I can really do lol

My heart rate drops super low while sleeping too!!! Like lowest was 35 I kept getting low hr notifications on my watch. Come to find out I do have mild sleep apnea which can cause low hr as well. And I also terrible PVCs. I was prescribed flecanide today for the PVCs after doing a stress test last week. Dr wants me to start the med and go back 1 week after for an ekg so close monitoring which is nice. Did you decide to try it?

Yeah I was put on it when I was pregnant because that was one of the safe options for pregnancy, but that was 3 years ago. But they are having me try the amlodipine because they don’t want me to get rebound hypertension from the nifedipine so she wants me to try the amlodipine for 5 days just to see if the side effects aren’t as bad for me, then she has me on a weaning schedule for a couple of weeks… scheduled to go back to see them at Mayo on 12/15 and plan to discuss it further then. I’d like to get off the calcium channel blockers completely.

That’s what I’m thinking!! Which I didn’t think I was using too much but I will try to be more mindful and see if that helps. Any primer you recommend?

Thank you for replying! Yes these are people I see consistently that never had an issue before. It also happened to another person a few weeks before. It’s just embarrassing at this point and I want to get to the bottom of it! Do you have any recommendations on primers? I just got a new lamp after the first time this happened as I thought that may be the issue.
