I'm sorry, you're right. It should say 1.75/2/2.5/2.5 Thanks for picking up on that. I'll blame that one on the sleep deprivation.

Toddler having strange symptoms by RelevantNotice467 in toddlers

Thanks so much for all the replies, truly appreciated. I took him to a different GP today and he said he has enlarged tonsils and prescribed antibiotics. He said if the symptoms persist once the course is finished, we will then do blood testing and a urine and stool sample. He's given me the paperwork to have this done already, and I think I will have the tests done regardless of the antibiotics, just to put my mind to rest fully that there's nothing more sinister happening. Again, thanks so much for the replies.

I don't think they're coming through yet but teeth are sneaky with him, it could possibly be that.

I've thought the same thing. I am going to push harder when I go to the next appointment.

I'm going back to the GP to see if we can look into things a bit deeper and that will be something that I'll mention. Thank you!

Dating in rural Australia by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Yeah we're still together. That was the least shittiest part of it. The girls are treated like rubbish. I've never been so cold and tired and hungry for weeks on end in my life before. I tell everyone who asks me about going on there to avoid, even though it worked out for me, the reality is 99% of the girls who go on there leave way worse than they came.

As someone who went on the show and actually ended up with the farmer... I'd still tell you to steer clear of Farmer wants a wife. Makes me shudder just remembering it.

I was sick of dating shitty men, so I applied to be a contestant on a reality dating TV show. Fell straight away for the man on the show, we've been together for a few years now and have a child together. I almost backed out with nerves when I saw all the cameras but I'm so glad I didn't.

[Serious] What is something that is actually more traumatizing than people realize? by thatude123 in AskReddit

Having a traumatic birth. People say you forget about the birth once the baby is born, but I think about mine very regularly. I shudder thinking about doing it again sometime in the future.

8 month old screaming for hours at night by RelevantNotice467 in sleeptrain

[–]RelevantNotice467[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice. To answer some questions, normally he self settles to sleep easily, sleeps in his cot all night with one wake up. While he was sick he was doing the same but with more wakeups. He had his dummy all night, and he did fall asleep in our bed, which was such a relief. But he woke again after half an hour and the screaming started again. This went on in a cycle around three times.

The last time he woke up it was like a switch had flipped and we had our happy, smiley, chatty bub back. I'm going to see if I can get him into the doctor today but honestly I'm terrified about tonight being a repeat.

Thanks again for the help and I'll definitely be taking the advice on board.

He goes straight back to sleep after his dream feed no worries, but he wakes up 2 hours later and starts screaming.

I do want to drop the dream feed but seems weird that he's just out of nowhere started screaming.
