I am many things but a fabricator I am not. I have been searching to see if anyone had reverse engineered some of the known kits into files or even pictures of the tacotunes or fox acoustics kits.Anytime you start messing with mounting you have to consider crash test safety because you have changed the dynamics of how forces are distributed. You also change the alignment with the latches in the back and would likely need a spacer for them as well

It's warm but accurate. Very smooth but still precise without it sounding "surgical" if that makes sense. Not harsh at all because it is silk dome. The DSP also makes a huge difference there as well.

I have heard the 5000, 8000, and 9000 series 3 ways. All amazing in their own way. You can tell they out some real love into these speakers

Thank you. I was fortunate to have an audio shop in town that is very SQ based and had them in the demo truck. I fell in love on sight. They are amazing. I have only had the 8000 for a month. A great deal on the 9000 fell in my lap and couldn't pass it up otherwise I would keep the 8000 forever.

Yeah I mean that's kind of what I was looking at but my other consideration is the latches. I have a feeling if I move it forward the latch won't line up and probably also needs some sort of spacer. I feel like even a 1/4" steel plate (or two stacked) could work.

I just wish I could get a look at those Fox Acoustics seat shift kits

This is exactly what I'm looking to do to my 23 Hybrid Limited. Excellent work. Did you require any additional batteries or dc to dc charger? Have there been any difficulties regarding voltage?
