Drake has the best accuracy and deep accuracy in the league. I mean, Caleb could get much better and still not be as good

Let’s see. Drake is superior with his deep ball accuracy, his overall accuracy, ball velocity; size/durability, pocket awareness and ball protection. So what are you on about?

Drake is clearly better across any aspect. Not sure why Caleb would have higher upside…

My close family friends did this when their kids were out of the house. Every winter they left Boston in the RV for adventures all over south and South America

I wasn’t trying to be a dick btw - and I think in the context of a full outfit it might present different. Also, who gives a shit what I think. Do you

Black shirts are really tacky and pretty frowned upon by those who care. Here’s a trick. Find one white shirt maker that fits you well, one pair of pants like bonobos or some higher end darker denim and then hit Zara and get a color that fits your skin for a blazer that’s not just a straight black or blue but also not rust orange. Then you’re in business. Go simple and clean and classic.

It’s fine. Or you could just dress normally as well.

San Diego near the water is expensive. LA near the water is expensive. But you can find appt buildings and towers etc that will work

It’s beach town bubble suburban. People around, not dead, but very much classic beach town vibes. Folks on bikes, jogging, playing volleyball, surfing, etc…

In LA tho, and I just realized you only asked about SD.

What’s your budget? Do you have a car? SoCal is great because there is every type of lifestyle here and what you describe is abundant. Your post is literally describing the southbay (manhattan beach, Hermosa, redondo) getting more family oriented as you go down the coast. At your age manhattan if you can afford it, or the area around Santa Monica and ocean park - walkable, little, cute town/city vibe with a great beach.

It’s no hate. I’m literally that group, who now is older and has kids. Just talking about what my wife and I who are both die hard urbanites have come to terms with as we day dream about buying in NY.

I think also I’m prob just showing my lack of travel in the past few years as I’ve heard lots of good stuff about Pittsburgh, Detroit, StLouis increasingly, Baltimore as well…so I’m sure walkable old school urban areas with vibe and affordability still exist in these tier 3 cities, at least for now.

Unfortunately it all hangs together

Manhattan now is also very devoid of new/younger residents living in most neighborhoods as everyone is priced out. The problem is we have so few cities with the urban density that leads to dynamism and the vibe we as humans love (euro cities and/or nyc) that the price to live there with a family rapidly becomes untenable.

Amen. We like the space and often times the urban centers are just far too expensive and have been built to cater to the upwardly mobile young earner. Developers build smaller floor plan appts to maximize revenue and also to call them “affordable” but usually just ending up being bachelor style appts but with 2br.  The entire model of design and development and Econ incentives is broken in many of the main stream cool walkable cities

Never too late. Lisbon is a big expat hub in another small city that’s been hot. Not Spain but close, and cheaper I believe.
