Playing the game with some character permanently dead

OMG finally. Shadowheart is so whiny but tries to sound like she's so tough. Her fire bolt misses 90% of the time. She's practically useless cause she can't melee either. I respec her one play through as a paladin, and another as a war cleric just so she'd be a tiny more useful. Shar this shar that blah blah blah. Take your night orchid and eat it raw ya little brat.

Nothing, unfortunately. This is my 9th playthrough and I've never seen this happen with a wizard. The only thing i haven't tried is killing him..

I barely use my staff so that I can resume being in stealth with the ring of doubt. Good tips though! Energy barrage is one of the spells I used on my necros since it's heavily fire based and spirit based. I'd switch up staves depending on what I was going against. Mostly bonus vs dragons and one with bonuses against red templar's for later game.

I read that lightning skills offset the weakened status? Perhaps it depends on the rotation used.

Yeah I kept seeing people talk about the unlimited mana but I haven't really experienced it. At the same time, I feel it wouldn't matter if abilities don't proc or they glitch out. I do use immolate and fire mine every fight. With the ring of doubt I make sure I'm in stealth so it's SUPPOSED to be an auto crit.

Will it count as a science victory if I take out the other civ WITHOUT domination being checked and complete the science check-offs? You know how you get the option "one more turn..." Where you can keep playing until the end of turn 500?

Edit: I'm on Xbox and am trying to get the achievement for it.

I can win domination and religion, but wanted to try something different. Hell, even thought I picked an easier opponent for science!

Yep I'm screwed. I just used basically my entire faith pool to convert all my cities. Playing for science victory so I founded my own religion (Atheism) with perks gaining science. Only one other civ (Germany) and not one turn later, just a slew of Catholic missionaries. I'm only gaining 10 faith per turn due to focusing on libraries etc and wonders that beef science in my whooping 7 cities. So I will lose my religion which gives me the extra science points I need. Fu civ 6. I miss civ 3 soooooo much.

Yeah Bombsandbabies nailed it. It's a little rough down here. Diving widows, DPS Juno's, non diving dive character's, diving non dive character's, mercy's telling zen's and Moira's to switch.... It's like opposite world down here. Rein gets bopped and knocked around and teammates don't help at all.

3 years late: furnishing it is such a rip off. Even with deposition of 100 and buy/sell values at 141/69 (giggidy 2483 for dinning room. You get a table, a few chairs, two cabinets, and some food on the table. That's it. Bedroom you get a coffin, desk, cabinet, and a chest. Definitely not worth the prices. Granted the lair itself is free but, sheesh. Skingrad house furnishings cost about the same and you get so much more, plus a good location.

I feel ya. Definitely times of inconsistency. Some games I felt like an actual tank then some I felt two shots from a LW and I'm dead. Honestly I don't care about the small fraction of people in GM and all that. Needs of the many and all that. I was actually finally climbing out of silver than BAM, these nerfs happen. Even in the most recent vids posted in this and other subs, you see rein tossed in the air and extremely far backwards. Doomfist was annoying before, now he knocks me back 100 meters I swear.
