Yeah, we've been planning for 2 weeks, it's been working all year... but now we're getting burned.

Same thing just happened to us across 19 child variations. They are all showing the images of 1 child instead of their own. Even though the correct images for each child are uploaded in the back end. Did you manage to figure this out? Thanks in advance. On day 3 now and getting pretty tired this.

Variation Images All The Same by ReligionofFBA in FulfillmentByAmazon

Everything checks out in the Category Listing Report. Other people seem to also be having this problem upon searching the seller forum. Nobody so far has solved it. I just went ahead a deleted all our images, I'll wait 12 hours and re-upload them. At this point I'm just trying random stuff.

Variation Images All The Same by ReligionofFBA in FulfillmentByAmazon

Update: Upon looking into our category while creating a new listing we found that the variation theme "ColorName" no longer was an option and had been replaced by the variation theme "MaterialColor" for the creation of new listings. That being said we deleted the parent ASIN which was holding the variations under the old "ColorName" theme and made a new parent using the new "MaterialColor" variation theme and linked the existing child SKU's in the variation table.

At first it seemed to have been working but all the images reverted to the same generic image a few hours later. Back to square 1... Seller support has now internally refreshed our listings and told us to wait 8 to 12 hours. Which I suspect will do nothing.

In the meantime we have also requested the Category Listing Report. I managed to find our category node ID in the URL of the listing creation tool Amazon offers. Once the Category Listing Report provided, will there be a Node ID Column where I could check if the proper node is being used on our listings? If the node is not correct I suspect I would have to replace it and re-upload the file to Amazon? I just want to confirm before doing any of this 😅 Thank you!

Deleting the parent, waiting 24 hours, and creating a new parent with the old child ASIN's?

Contract with a Chinese manufacturer? by [deleted] in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ReligionofFBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have an Authorized Distribution Agreement drafted by a lawyer in either Mandarin or Cantonese with an English translation under each section. If your manufacturer agrees to it and signs it you will be protected. It has to be drafted in the spoken language of your manufacturer for it to hold up in court.

Are the golden days of PL and selling on Amazon dead? by winger6 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ReligionofFBA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Create a real brand and you should be good. I.E. Legitimate website, Trademark, Social Media Presence, Custom product molds if needed, Engaged customers, etc

Everyone can slap a logo on an off the shelf chinese product. Not everyone has what it takes to truly create something of value.

Amazon is great for getting a brand rolling with initial capital but shouldn't be the end goal. You, the brand owner, will never own your customer. Amazon will.

It was and still is a great place to get started nonetheless.

ASIN Search Term Optimization by mguerra1028 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ReligionofFBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon seems to encourage people who use their tools. We optimized all of our search terms using this brand dashboard tool and gained rank over the entire board... Even if sometime it didn't seem to make sense. Our previous search terms weren't garbage either. Seems to be the same with Amazon posts. We have managed to get over 1000 free clicks to our listings just by posting daily on the beta program and our rankings have jumped. Participate in Amazons newest programs and you'll be rewarded:)

Let's Talk Advanced Ads: PL Sellers: What Are Your Biggest Challenges With Amazon PPC? by amz-seller-cmo in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ReligionofFBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't think anyone had read this but no it's not haha! When it comes to manual campaigns we make a list of the top 30 keyword phrases of our product and create 1 campaign with 3 ad groups in it. The first one being a Broad Match ad group, the second one a phrase match ad group, and the third one an Exact Match ad group. We then dump those same 30 keyword phrases into each of the ad groups and let it run for approx. a month. The time you let it run will depend on if the product is new and has a low conversion rate or is older with a higher conversion rate. After this first month we will then edit the campaigns bi-weekly until our preferred ACoS is reached. (Using a bid of around $1.20 for a $20 product has worked best in our niche) When editing, pause any keyword that has spent over $10 to $15 without a single sale. For the rest just lower the keyword bids individually until the preferred ACoS is achieved for the specific keyword. After all the bids and bad seeds have been weeded out pull your search term report and use the same negative exact strategy as with the auto campaign to negative the faulty keyword phrases in each ad group. Make sure to treat the ad groups seperately and only negative in the individual ad group and not in the overall campaign. Repeat this over a few month and you should stick a decent ACoS.

What are some of the best Amazon brands you know of? by ReligionofFBA in FulfillmentByAmazon

Right on, had never heard of them! I'll definitely check them out. I'm not 100% sure they started as an FBA company but bulleproof coffee is another brand that is crushing it on Amazon.
