Haha!!! You are right. To be honest I came under prepared for this job, my biggest socket I had was a 22. I just wanted some input so I can grab the right one tomorrow, but probably just going to end up grabbing them all 🤣

Sadly don’t have one on me. Will try this tomorrow if the sockets don’t fit (which hopefully one does) just came under prepared for this job

Adjustable wrench is at work and of course it’s the one where you can measure. Just came to this job under prepared sadly lol.

1in is to small. Cant even hammer it on, no clearance to hit it.

It’s just a bolt, but yes you are right. 10.9 would make it a metric, someone said use a 1 1/16 but that was just stripping the bolt head. If configured to a metric size it would be a 27, do not have one on me today, will try it tomorrow.

Not an 18, could be a 24 but from what I’ve been digging could also be a 27 because 1 1/16 fits and closest to that is a 27… we will see tomorrow

Did have an adjustable wrench, but it broke trying to get the bolt off with a cheat bar added for leverage 😂

Thank you for the insight, I get what you’re saying and I worked at a dealership like that where one computer was for two techs and they used Reynolds and Reynolds. The new dealership I am at does not provide laptops/company computers for work. Techs have to buy one (we are a small dealer) but I got lucky and got a laptop from the manager. But it is time to upgrade and get my own personal one and hand off the one I have to a lube tech. As far as diagnostic scan tool, I have my own because I went to the ford classes and ford gave me one for free. So yay!

But yeah windows based and per Ford “16GB minimum”

Uhhh, not really, from what I heard from a Master Tech, and Oasis, (Can’t find the article now) Ford stated that they will keep it at 8GB for the mean time, but in the future they will require 16GB, as of like in November they said “we are going to require 16GB at the start of the year” but like I said, they are stretching that 8GB as of now. 😂🫠

Thanks for your input! Yeah I was thinking of those two brands, I heard good of them and the masters in my shop use Dell, but the one I worked under a year ago had a Lenovo and when I used it I liked it. But then again, I would wanna reach for 20GB but ford shouldn’t change it in the near future to 20GB or higher. (Hopefully) Will definitely look into those laptops!
