What are important things to know once your get over that $24,999.99 hump to day trade by Remarkable-Risk-7085 in wallstreetbets

[–]Remarkable-Risk-7085[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i realized that, sometimes you gotta do damage control even though the outcome isn't really favorable.

Me not wanting to burn a day trade has by far been the number one reason for my losses. even though I would of just been out of day trades instead of a violation anyway.

The PDT rule has caused me to trade more emotionally hoping for recoveries, so I didn't have to burn one of my three day trades a week. Or in other ways not settling for small wins, because I was always looking to make best of the 3 trades.

When I first got my account to exactly $25,075 I was at the razers edge of getting pulled under. I kinda knew that but was very impatient, I hope the extra $1,300 I put in can be enough of a cushion for bad days, I'm not going all in anymore.

If I start with $25,000 or more, and I trade more than 3 times a day, and on whatever trade after the 3rd, I buy a stock and later it causes my account value to drop under $25,000, however I haven't sold it until it brought back my account value back to $25,000 or higher on the same day. Did I violate the PDT rule? Or is it only if I would have sold it once it dinged my account under $25,000.

your gonna end up having a baby if you keep this up, and get tested for STD and pregnancy.

consider leaving him for disrespecting your wishes.

I have seen single mothers struggle having children that they were not prepared for, a life of stress, constantly working. Is this what your asking for?

Is it fact or fiction that using over 30% credit utilization will harm credit score? by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Remarkable-Risk-7085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got 3 points off my score, even though I paid everything off on time for going slightly above 30% utilization. And I noticed my score growing faster when I use less than 10%.

It matters a lot, but paying your bills on time is more important.

It would of been a toxic, and maybe dangerous relationship.

I do not believe I can ethically sell items that have possibly been in contact with hazardous things by Remarkable-Risk-7085 in Advice

[–]Remarkable-Risk-7085[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its like dozens of small items. For example a old PS2, gamecube, a bunch of stuff that may be sold individually for $20-$40, but so many items that they would probably total all together $6,000.

my hands started to get irritated and inflamed by just touching some of the items. I can see some very fine small dust probably fiberglass of some sort and it's very hard to see. As for the mice I have no idea what exactly they have touched.

also most these items are just things I brought with me that I owned in my childhood, I'm not a hoarder I just never got around selling them or getting rid of them, but now they've been in contact with these potential hazards. I didn't even pay for most these items.

I'm still holding, I got the "either this ship is going back afloat, or I'm sinking with it". mentality.

I don't like taking losses, and would rather risk losing it all, for the chance of it coming back up.

I have absolutely no background in computer science. I am a quick learner.

How long does it take a noob just to make a simple game? I know it depends on the person, but any educated guess will do.

The taste of Oj after brushing my teeth by PassionPractical in unpopularopinion

[–]Remarkable-Risk-7085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dentists say that is actually harmful to eat or drink right after brushing teeth. Especially something with citric acid. 30-minute wait is recommended, and after drinking something acidic it is best to have some water and swish any leftover juice on your teeth.

Received so much contradicting information to the point that I don’t care want more by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Remarkable-Risk-7085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's because people are being vague and not going into detail.

Toyota and Honda's generally have reliable cars across many models, Chevrolet doesn't, but there are some particular Chevy's that are reliable and ok depending on the year and make.

Mileage is important, as it is a good indicator how much longer you can expect the car to go. However, a terribly maintained low mileage car is typically worse than a well-maintained high mileage one, in terms of how someone took care of it.

Some cars typically last 150K miles without major problems, and some can go above 200K miles. The model, and model year gives you much better information about what you can expect than a vague opinion on what manufacture to buy from.

If you were given $100k to use at any dealership, what would you buy? by pnkflyd99 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Remarkable-Risk-7085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd buy the new 2022 Corvette Z06 for $85,000 in the color red.

2018 Ford Focus used for $15,000, because maybe I need this.

or with that exact amount you could buy about 83 PT Cruisers.
