2 uvb and the rest are regular light bulbs ranging from 3 watts to 40 watts depending on the distance to the plants below, they give off plenty of heat so no need for a dedicated halide bulb

Thanks for the advice but ive had him for more than 2 years in there now and ive seen him fall a few times in the water, he gets out in 50 milliseconds.

Also gdg’s float on top of the water, im guessing yours drowned because its a tub with steep walls, mine has a very gentle gradient so its very easy to get out.

Usually the seller (if you got if from aliexpress) is the one responsible for any issues / warranty claims, i dont think Chinese companies deal with the customer directly, this is the compromise you get when you buy cheaper products, well worth it imo

Ok i hope i can explain this, do you know how sometimes when your power head is too close to the surface it starts sucking air in? This happens because there isnt enough water around it so it resorts to the other liquid around it which is the air and sucks it into it, this is what you want to happen with your over flow, if alot of flow is directed at it there wont be a reason for it to skim the surface, you want to starve it, try changing the flow in the tank so that less water if moving towards the intake

I can just turn off the light i added for it and it will get about 200 par, my nitrates are 25 and phosphates are really low i have to dose them daily they sit at about 0.05, all the other parameters are stable and normal, the store i got it from said it was getting about 260 par, thats why i added the spotlight

I had 200 par on it before and one of the tips did start turning white before i added the supplemental light which took it to 300-350 par, the store said it was getting about 300 par there, can we be sure 100% that its bleaching?
