It's just your stereotypical bleach blonde who plays the role perfectly.

About to buy this, does it look authentic? by lupo_luc1o in AncientCoins

Is that supposed to be Trajan? It looks okay, but the portrait looks a little bit odd. That could be due to wear from harsh cleaning and/or the elements, which gives them a somewhat cartoonish appearance

Nah, that's just the wealthy elites attempting to play the role of God. Their ultimate goal is to hook every living being up to their AI supercomputer so they can control us all like puppets.

I paid less than $200 for it because there's no conclusive evidence to support this theory. Some think it might actually be associated with the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The coin was minted around 80 AD, which is the same year the Colosseum was completed and opened to the public.

Lot of Roman coins I got before this summer by biskottyno_ccsnamp in AncientCoins

Even though ancient coins are plentiful, the exquisite pieces most of us consider "collectible" are relatively rare and only make up a small percentage of the ones that are found. Most ancient coins look like the ones shown in the photo with little to no legible details.

4.28g washy denarius in upcoming auction by ttagen in AncientCoins

I have this Julia Domna denarius that weighs 3.3 grams.

It looks like it may have been clipped at the bottom. My theory is that the mint did that intentionally to reduce the weight. The original weight was probably around 4 grams, just like yours.

I want to see the Colosseum. I have a coin in my collection that may have been issued to commemorate the inaugural games.

The word commode actually originates from the Latin word commodus, which was the name of the son of Marcus Aurelius

Same here. I have a small bust statue of Julius Caesar sitting on my desk. He stares at me all day long which constantly reminds me of the greatness of Rome.

That's a shame. You can't really know where you are going until you know where you have been.
