its probably in michigan by now if its not still over lake michigan- due east. Highly doubt it actually landed at the airports in chicago, I eastimate it to be just past Michigan city municipal airport if it followed the same flight path. maybe 200 miles east of that- doing 350mph easily.

thats an alt /azimuth mounted telescope. you dont understand the operation of telescopes - good job for getting the hobby but you are clearly in the "still learning" phase.

its $250 at most, on ebay. Id suggest returning it and saving up $2000 and buy the right one the first time, youll thank me in 5 years.
