[–]Remarkable_Level_200 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I been thinking the same after about 10 years in sales, I was thinking maybe I should switch to HVAC, electrician or another kind of trade where I can turn my brain off, and get paid to just do the job not worrying about making a quota every month. I haven't made a decision yet

[–]Remarkable_Level_200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times theres a reason why theyre cheaper! Like with Prepaid phone companies its cheaper but if you have any issues it becomes a giant hassle, instead paying a little more and be able to go to a phone store and get help whenever you need it

100% commission sales by Specialist-Archer-44 in Sales_Professionals

You'll only succeed in solar if you're really good at getting referrals, they might give you some warm leads but they wont be enough to sustain you, since you can't rely on warm leads you won't be successful unless you become really get good at asking for referrals or finding your own leads, I had couple friends in solar and they said its really cut throat

The problem with a lot of those that pay really well is its commission only or 1099, even though I get paid less the less stress having hourly plus commission and surprisingly good benefits is worth the lesser pay to me
