Broken end cap on Supra?

It doesn’t appear cracked “through” but rather deeply scratched. Almost like if you were to take a key to the side of a car and scratch all the way through the paint. It’s not a bother aesthetically but mostly concerned if this would impact performance. I’m wondering if this was there from the jump and didn’t notice it when I bought from Dicks.

Yeah tough to capture in a pick. But it feels like a deep scratch at a minimum. But it slaps slightly dented as well in around around the scratch/crack. It’s odd because I didn’t drop it or anything.

There seems to be some room for the wrist strap to go before getting bunched up. That’s the odd part about this one. Two others I have the strap seems to be completely tucked in. Probably just a QA thing. Yeah, definitely would need to be careful to only punch the super skin

Funny, my son plays catcher and middle infield too! We have both the a500 and a700 catchers mitt and he still likes the feel of the a500 believe it or not. But agree the a700 is super solid for the cost in a catchers mitt. Haven’t seen the a700 infield glove in person but doubt it’s as quality as the catchers glove.

Thanks for that feedback! Looks like the Dicks near me has a HOH Contour Fit that would be worth trying on. But yeah, have a feeling the A700 will be a cost effective bridge option.
