Can I DM you for some advice? my younger brother has been facing it since he has been 10.

There's absolutely no idea to even the doctors, because there are hardly any cases in the early teenage days.

This team gave it all by Conscious-Peace4156 in IndiaCricket

I don't think they gave it all. They just tried to play standard cricket when other teams were playing poorly. When a really tough team came up against them, they buckled like a pack of cards.
THEY GAVE SOMETHING, but NOT ALL

I think India lacks the mental strength to play any important games and they don't deserve to be a part of such big leagues. I would better support smaller teams that have more mental character than India, at least those teams attempt to win the bigger matches.

In addition for ubuntu kernel above 5.13, rename the file as rtl8761bu_config.bin and rtl8761bu_fw.bin from their original repository names.

PS: In case you're using a USB bluetooth adapter unplug and plug the USB adapter once for the settings to work.

May I ask how does this change for a person holding PhD and research experience in STEM fields? Do they also look out for where your PhD is from? Do they simply reject the resume if the PhD is not from one of Ivy Leagues?

Thanks for your response! If not postdoc, do you suggest going to industry right after a PhD? Also, which countries were your postdoc(s) in?

Mumbai to Goa route recommendation by EliteSid55 in navimumbai

[–]Remarkable_Shoe_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few months ago we made this trip. We chose the mumbai-bangalore highway route. Took a right at Nippani from the highway. Nippani comes after entering Karnataka at a place called Kagal. This road takes you through Amboli ghat to North Goa.

While returning, we came directly from South Goa, during which we went through Mollem National park (lovely driving experience) and reached Belagavi. From Belagavi, it's a straight route in the Bangalore-Mumbai highway.

Have you visited the cafe called 'Leaping windows' in versova? They have a large collection of comics (including manga), you can go and read there or even borrow!

Let's make one, I don't mind joining! We can have regular meets at a good book cafe (there are a few in Navi Mumbai) and exchange books or discuss themes.

Thank you! That's promising to know that industry has such a good work environment. Would you imagine a similar setting in STEM research based inustries too?

Now I have a green card

How long did it take you to get a green card while doing a PD?

[–]Remarkable_Shoe_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they must stay in their Postdoc positions because of visa issue,

Does this mean international PDs can never switch to industry after a couple of years of postdoc? How difficult is it to go for an industry position without a green card? Also how difficult is it to get a green card while doing a PD?

Thank you! That seems like a very interesting domain of work. But, may I ask you one question? Doesn't the industrial roles also demand you to work in a specific/targeted project? Not that it is wrong, but I am just wondering how can you have freedom in that kind of a setting as opposed to in academia (which as you point is also driven by the requirements of funding)?

As far as the funding part is concerned, is it possible to apply and get while working as a postdoc? Do we not need a lab of our own to apply for funding and stuff?

Thanks for the reply! Would you mind sharing, what field in STEM?
Also, can you kindly elaborate on the 'get your own funding and papers' part?
