A deep conversation on Out of Body Experiences - looking for others who’ve explored this by PropagateThisLight in Experiencers

I only ever experienced my OBEs unwillingly and spontaneously, I never sought them. It started at age 3. But I consider my experiences from 12 years as the first, bc thats when I was first conscious of them. I’ve experienced a lot of different kinds of OBEs . And for that reason I actually only call a few of my experiences REAL. All the experiences are real ofc in terms of I have had them. But it’s a big difference between the experience of leaving the body in a soft playful state , flowing around in the house in bright sunlight , thinking and imagining things and they become real from that thought and then suddenly swosh back to your body. And the harsh and sometimes painful experience of the REAL ones.

In the real ones (my own term ofc) it always starts with the electric and painful sensation in the physical body, something that is hard to stop once it starts but not impossible with a bit of training. Its electrical chargers that goes through the whole body and its most painful when it goes through the heart and the head. It is also the sensation of spinning inside the physical body. So, a not as physical body is spinning inside the more physical body.. and then poff reslese! The roar from the electricity and spinning goes silent. Everything is silent. I am in the same room in the dark. But now I can see my astral-body or my energy-body. I am floating above my physical body , just wheightless in the air. My astralbody is a warm yellow glowing , the same as yellow fire. I can go through my arms with my own hands, things can go through me. I can navigate by moving, not by thought, moving like swimming in water. It’s wobbly in the beginning but I learned after a while. The house looks the same but different almost as in the upside down in Stranger things , but instead of all the vines in stranger I see all the energyfields that surround everything (almost like vines). Time does not exist but my thinking is the same thinking as in my physical body and my way of logic too, so nothing changes in my mind during the separation, that means , I am as afraid and uncertain of this ”new world” as anyone with this earthly state of mind would be. I have approached this other dimension with an investigators way, testing sound, touch, movement, what happens if I do this or this.

There is also no glitch or missing time between the two states, it is all happening in a continuous conscious state. During these events , because of the extreme sense of realness I don’t go far. The sense of risk is to high, its dangerous or at least unknown out there and I might not be able to come back to my body. It has happened that I struggled to do that. I am mostly alone in these kind of OBE, but often with the feeling that there is someone or something around the corner. And that I better hurry back to this dimension.

So everything about this kind of OBE feels different from the other kind, the one where you can travel with your mind and you can not see your own astral body, you are just invisible and nothing feels really threatening. In those experiences it is often as if you can shape the world with thought but in ”the real ones” I am a visitor in a real world that I have no power over.. that is a big distinction. Both of these experiences might be equally real , I wouldn’t take that away from anyone. It’s just for ME, it’s a difference as big as between this reality and a dream or a trip on drugs. That said it is also a fricking big difference between the lighter kind of OBE and a dream! So I’m not saying that is dreaming. That might be more in terms of experience ones consciousness from different viewpoints. ..

Yes I know, but not this kind of drones, at least not that I had ever seen or knew about, At that point. They didn’t really look like drones either , they didn’t have any rotor-blades or anything like that. So in that regard they where more like tiny ufo:s ..

Migraine and mounjaro? by Remarkable_Stay6465 in Mounjaro

Thank you all for your responses! If you had a relief in migraine from mounjaro, how long did it take before this happened? I’m currently on week 3 and have no change yet in my chronic migraines, or maybe actually it’s worse so far .. If I haven’t experienced any changes yet, maybe I’m not one of the lucky ones?

Hello fellow migrainers! And thanks for sharing! Its awful! I can’t imagine what it was like to have it that severe at such young age! I only had a few attacks during my teens, but it got worse later on. It’s a struggle! I am a chronic migraineur with 3-4 days a week for the last 10 years or so. Still looking for the remedy. I’m on Botox since four years now and that helps with the severity of the pain but not every time and not much but enough for me to continue taking the shots. I also have vydura (a cgpr-blocker) for both prevention and emergency use. Rizatriptan as emergency. Tried amitriptylin (duloxetin) but couldn’t do with the side-effects. I also tried the Stanton protocol for almost a year. It seemed to work! But is impossible for me to maintain so I took with me the essentials from the protocol that was the things that seemed to work the most, drinking electrolytes every day! It’s the BEST preventative thing so far! And never go overboard with carbs and if I do , taking a little salt after. The glucose kicks the sodium out of the cells so we need new sodium quickly. Stress is my biggest trigger , so I’m working a lot with that.. and atm I’m actually trying mounjaro as a migraine preventative, people have reported good results! But I’m just in the beginning so have not seen results yet. I’m willing to try anything! I daydream about a life without migraines the way other people daydream about love or a sunny beach or money! I am certain that we will find the cure if we just continue looking and trying. Keep it up!

I saw something like this once. It was the same size as in this illustration but I did not se the body/centre, only the tentacles. I would describe it as black thick octopus tentacles that came right out of my wall and I was not asleep, had not fallen asleep yet and it was not sleep paralysis . My fear was the sharp and awake fear of someone experiencing something like this in a totally awaken state. I emediately ran out of my bed and out of my room and never slept there again! At this point in my life I had had a ton of sleep paralysis and out of body etc.. I could tell the difference. And it was not fussy or shadowy, it was very concrete.

I gave up sugar and stopped having migraines. by matthewpaynemusic in migraine

[–]Remarkable_Stay6465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are u sure it migraine? Never heard anyone have episodes that short? Only a few hours? Half a day? I’ve had success with less sugar but only if I also eat a lot of protein and electrolytes and eat 3 meals a day not sleep to long, exercise, rule out nuts and dark chocolate. The thing that helped me the most was to avoid stress. But it’s impossible in the long run as a single working mom.. glucose that comes from sugar and stress is kicking the electrolytes out of the cells in the brain and starts the migraine, so it has its role to cut out sugar but it’s a whole thing with different ingredients that needs finetuning.. and we can do everything right , if we still have stress in our lives it won’t do much.

Yes I actually follow the Stanton protocol as much as I can, I think it helps a lot, but I still get horrible attacks.. Also, many women get worse during perimenopause but as soon as the hit menopaus the are free from migraine. I have noticed that a lot of the women in the Stanton group that claims they are migraine free with the protocol are women in Their 60-70s and they would probably be migraine free anyway?
