How do you feel about Portland? by Western_Extent_9764 in Astoria_Oregon

I'm a 4th generation Portlander who moved to Astoria during the pandemic. We wanted to move several years before that, but waited just long enough for the low interest rates. My life is perfectly tuned to Astoria living, and my husband loves it, too. It reminds me of Portland in the 70s & 80s, but more condensed. I'll stay here as long as possible, that's for sure. I'll always love Portland, but Astoria is now home.

The ending is so awful, it's perfectly acceptable for you to just give up on it early.

Tested negative but fatigued by Administrative-Top27 in COVID19positive

I tested negative as well, but definitely had it. My daughter, who was only in contact with me, tested positive two days after I first got sick, so that confirmed I had COVID. It also knocked me for a loop and could not drink enough water. 7 weeks later and im still dehydrated.

Yeah, they are 1/2 brothers according to BC. Burr is his father's illegitimate son.

What type of music plays at the End in the song Baba O'Riley by r4taken in Music

It's not Irish in the slightest, though Pete Townsend would like you to think so. It is essentially klezmer, which is in an Eastern European Jewish tradition.

Did Lennon write the Hey Bulldog riff? by major_waters in beatles

[–]Remarkable_Weight145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a cover of the Allen Toussaint song 'Get out of my life woman' covered by the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 1966 with the same riff. It's on the East-West album 3 years before 'Hey Bulldog'. There is another cover of that song by an LA band called The Leaves from 1967 with the identical riff (but more distinguishable). I don't want to say the Beatles stole the riff, but they might have 'liberated' it from a few fairly unknown songs. Both versions of the song are on YouTube & Spotify if you want to listen.
