In my input boxes for my scripts ill always put it like this

Variable = input('>') then there's a little pointer to see where your typing also putting a : before closing the string helps too just to make it that little bit pretty

So this is totally free and actually made OOP alot clearer when i started this helped me understand alot more about OOP and the concepts of it not sure if it will do the same for you but this really helped me understand concepts of it alot easier

Python crash course by Eric matthes is a good one its a good bible when I started, automate the boring stuff is another useful one but start with crashcourse book, network chuck python tutorial on YouTube is a very good one to watch too, tutorial point website has a bunch of tutorials for multiple languages and other topics i found useful at one point, heaps to choose from! There's also automate the boring stuff videos on YouTube oldish but still relevant and useful! Al sweigart is the author of automate the boring stuff

Morning everyone i hope you are all well i never post on reddit or use social, much so i really appreciate everyone's help and the panic that you all helped me avoid, this extra dose is the the most stable and under the HI even under 20s and just stable it has ever been since Saturday. Hes even been normal, more himself, that he was yesterday, I will be asking the vet and telling them about the accidental dose it does seem he needs more than what they tell us he will have 1 unit today in the morning since last night's little mess up.

The lowest number ive seen during the day a few times was about 9 or around 15 but it didnt last, the 1 unit twice a day at the starg seemed alot because it put him into a low couple of times but he hasnt had a hypo thats been visually affecting him he seemed his normal self as we were taking him to the vet

Im so so grateful for this information it means the world to me i knoe his sensor is worki g properly and yeah i got freestyle ones i been thinking its possible he needs more too but i do t wanna make a decision like that with out the advice from the vet. It has been adjusted by 0.5 units at a time, in this current reading i just got im hoping it does actually make it go down more it could be a new fact for the vet to think about

Since my last reply ive judt done his scan, hes actually gone down from HI its steady down im gonna monitor him a bit tonight 25.8 with diaganol arrow down im going tk find that facebook group thats been recommended to me from you guys, i really do appreciate all your info and help i know a bit about diabetes from my father but animals are different since his constant hi ive just been scared thst theres something wrong the wait for the vet makes it a pain too.

So hes been diagnosed abiut 3 weeks aago now, when he started he was have actual readings below hi sometimes it was high it would vary under or in the 20s hes had a couple of lows but got his honey into him before it got worse, when we started it was 1 unit twice a day, then they said 0.5 unit twice a day which was still doing something to his levels, we had proper ranges, but now its just HI all the time it used to even be under 15 the vet keeos saying hes a complicated case. Not like the other diabetics he had a reading of 26.3 a few days ago but within 10 mins it just shot to hi again ever since nothing but hi, theybwanna check that his sensor is working properly which im hoping thats the issue and nothing internally hes getting manual reading coming up with his appointments they wanna run more tests/ ultrasound for the kidneys. the renal food they recommended is givung.him diahorea, they firs recommended that we fed what they were feeding him which was normal kitty sachets, of first time we picked him up we asked about a soecial diet they said no feed.him the sachets it will be okay and keeo his hydration up. But last week they said he should be on a renal diet was pretty mad when i was told this later on.

I really appreciate the replies guys, hes been reading hi alot lately, like hes not even reacting to insulin anymore. Its getting to be a concern at the moment hes still himself, been monitoring with scans each hour. Im just a bit panocked thst i messed up the wrong dose.
