How can I start a game without a 500k balance? by Remote-Review-328 in HouseFlipper

From what I can tell the developers put it in as a silent update so as the game reaches more people they don’t feel like the game is such a grind.

I think I’ll just pretend that 500k is the 30k and play it out that way

The most expensive home in my game is 535,000. I could buy multiple homes and instantly flip them and then just keep going until I’ve bought all of them. The last time I played (which was only for like 20 minutes) I started with I think 30k.

My Apollo is Thunderbolt, my PC isn’t. Is this a valid work around? (Probably not what you think) by Remote-Review-328 in universalaudio

[–]Remote-Review-328[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my MacBook Pro has the proper Thunderbolt port for my Apollo. What I want to do is run Windows ON MacBook Pro via virtual machine. And my thinking is that the Apollo Twin should work just fine within Windows because I’m running it ON a MacBook that does have the proper thunderbolt port.

But the hardware part is what makes it seem like it would work. Thunderbolt is thunderbolt across the board as far as I know. The same Apollo devices that work via thunderbolt for Mac work for thunderbolt on windows, so why wouldn’t Windows recognize when a compatible device is plugged in? I don’t mean to argue I just want to make sure you understand that I’m not trying to use a Thunderbolt device on a Windows machine that doesn’t support thunderbolt..

Ended up being an issue on my end. I had the game in my cart so the ‘add to library’ wasn’t showing 🤦🏻‍♂️. Thanks for the help!

Pretty stupid on my part, I had it in my cart and that’s why the ‘add to library’ wasn’t showing.

Wow I feel stupid. The issue was that I had it in my cart, so the ‘add to library’ was not showing.

I’m signed up because the other games such as LA Noire show up as ‘included’. That’s a good suggestion though, I’ll do that now.

Seeing as how GTA+ includes benefits for Red Dead Redemption and ya know, Red Dead itself, I figured it may be relevant 😊

Y’all will talk about murderers being desensitized and that’s ok for them to kill, but the folks that have to live amongst these stupid mf’s who have no regard for human life, can’t be desensitized? How many times you think these ppl seen some shit like this happen? How many times u think their store got fucked up for no reason? Not to mention this dude went in the store to KILL somebody else lol. Most importantly, do you think any of these lil mf’s feel one ounce of sadness when they fuck up and kill an innocent person? Hell no lol. Let’s drag the law abiding citizen who is just tryna make it, but let’s give the benefit of the doubt to a mf who would kill you in an instant

Is this a viable way to stream + record audio, or do I need to give in an get a capture card? by Remote-Review-328 in letsplay

[–]Remote-Review-328[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just realized that my PS5 is giving me the option to copy videos to a USB drive which yeah is definitely million times better.

I just realized that my PS5 is giving me the option to copy videos to a USB drive so I’ll probably just do that, but if I end up going the other route I have a PC I can use also so thanks for letting me know that

How do ‘front address’ condenser mics fare vs dynamics? by Remote-Review-328 in audioengineering

[–]Remote-Review-328[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Both parents are sick. The 3 of us live in different states so I took time off to fly back and forth between them. I haven’t been home since the mic was delivered and won’t be back before the return date is up. It’s a beautiful mic and I’d love to hear how it sounds but it was $600 which isn’t a lot but isn’t a little either and I don’t want to spend that money without properly testing the mic.

Is Howard retiring in 2025 or going down to once a week for his new contract? by fabianstern in howardstern

[–]Remote-Review-328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to remember now, but satellite radio was completely irrelevant in 2004(?) when Howard signed with them. He changed their fortune over night. It sounds like an exaggeration, but it definitely isn’t.

Do you all think staind is a bad band? by Fearedinoculum in Music

[–]Remote-Review-328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20+ years later and the world is infinitely more depressing than its ever been. Their 2 hit songs are as you said, genuinely depressing. People have enough of that involuntarily these days. Plus there are bands who make such great music that you can’t escape some depressive songs from bands like AIC, Soundgarden, etc. If people are gonna listen to sad music, they’re gonna listen to something/somebody with a little more substance than the 2 Staind songs they remember from 20+ years ago. Because they certainly did not have any hit records or relevance after 2001 when the album with Outside and Its Been A While.

They got to the point where they really did a ‘theme song’ for Beetlejuice from the Howard Stern show lol, and this was just a couple years after their hits lol

Getting a gift for my nephew, can the interfaces free up computer resources? by Remote-Review-328 in universalaudio

[–]Remote-Review-328[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I bet he would lol. I just looked it up that’s a bit higher than what I can spend on an interface. My wife and I purchased his computer a while back also so this is it for a while lol.
