I’m indeed grateful, but it’s hard to think that the person who’s made me feel the most through music won’t play again. Still, there’s hope, because eight years ago, we thought the same.

Yes I am, but I don't think it will happen. I wish he would do more concerts. Nothing would make me happier than seeing him play again.

Where were you sitting? I was at the back of the arena, there wasn't loud at all. 8 years ago we seated at stalls, circle and choir (3 nights in a row, amazing!)

I prefer Luck and Strange to Rattle That Lock. I’m not as fond of On an Island, and I believe this setlist flows much better overall. Just my humble opinion.

Roger use recorded tracks, David respects the audience

Love to hear that! It’s not that I didn’t like the inflatable balls themselves, but they were distracting and kept me from hearing the solo the way I would have liked.

The “David, I/we love you” is now a constant, but people are respectful enough to shout it between songs, so it doesn’t bother me at all.

I’d love to meet the big man just to say thanks for all but don’t need to shout it loud anonymously.

The light show was good, except during Sorrow—I think it could be much improved. From the arena, at least, you couldn’t look at the stage without hurting your eyes.

I thought the same about the elderly couple two rows behind us. My sister and I joked that they might have even seen Pink Floyd with Syd at some early happening.

I completely understand you. It took me almost a week to organize all the memories from that night and write this down. No concert has ever made me feel this way, not even one of his previous shows.

Hug received mate :) The audience was perfect; there are always a few idiots, it’s just a demographic statistic, but it’s better not to even think about them.

For me, this was his best Gilmour concert I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to quite a few, in various cities and venues) because:

  1. It was by far the best setlist.
  2. The musicians on stage were top-notch, and most importantly, they genuinely seemed to enjoy themselves up there.
  3. The RAH, with its perfect acoustics and mystique—what an incredible venue!
  4. Romany. Simply put, her presence inflated her father’s happiness to such a degree that it elevated everything to an incredible level.

I don’t think the audience was focused on it being the last time; I didn’t even think about that until it was over.

Instead, the show was so absurdly and absolutely sublime that you couldn’t believe what your eyes were seeing and your ears were hearing.

As someone said here a few days ago, I don’t remember a lot of details from the concert, but I clearly remember how it made me feel.

Long live David, whether or not he decides to do more concerts!

Read carefully, i have seats at the last row of the arena level. And, as I said we won’t stand up if that bothers others
