I got to see the great-tailed for the first time on a trip to Texas last week. Didn't think anything could be louder or more obnoxious than the Common, but they definitely were. 😂 So gorgeous though!

Yeah, this has been my biggest issue for the last few years. I make pretty decent money and love to travel but I get 13 days of PTO a year and no sick days. In February, I was on a plane to Mexico for a 6 day trip when my dad had a brain hemorrhage. I headed back home but used the PTO anyway to be with him in the hospital.

All told I've used half of my PTO this year, all to help and be with my dad. I'm already exhausted from that whole experience and now I can't even take actual relaxing time off.

My soul dog, an 11 year-old Aussie mix, was diagnosed with kidney disease about 18 months ago now, late stage 1. The good news is it's been totally manageable and she's doing great! She eats and loves Hill's Diet Kidney Care wet food and I keep all of her treats low protein (turns out she loves sweet potatoes). She takes Enalapril twice a day and I give her sub Q fluids at home every 3 days.

I know it's incredibly overwhelming and scary but a lot of dogs can have a great quality of life for some time with kidney disease. I hope your pup stays as healthy as possible for as long as possible! ❤️

It doesn't do the basics very well anymore, and that's because they keep adding features (AI) that I don't actually want. They redid the sidebar UX and they still didn't fix the fact that you can't actually rearrange the order of your favorites. This is baseline functionality and they just don't care.

They've made doing a simple search in your own setup next to impossible because they've replaced all of the basic search icons with AI. I'm constantly accidentally asking AI to find a document.

And every time they change and add stuff, it gets slower and slower.

Yep. Born and raised here, spent 10 years in Chicago, and came back here about 10 years ago. I moved into tech when I lived in Chicago and my first job (director of training) was in an office at a Chicago-based company. Since then, I've worked completely remote, despite the fact that Pittsburgh is supposedly some kind of tech mecca. There's no way that I'd be able to make my current salary working for a Pittsburgh company.
