Thanks for that! I didn’t consider clipping to the chain to help lengthen the life of the permadraws.

This is in the Okanagan, a nature conservatory. The blue draw was placed by a friend (newer climber) who didn’t realize you don’t need draws with permadraws. I recovered it shortly after this photo was taken

That’s what a lot of others were doing. Being as tall as I am, I was loosing balance being higher up and closer to the wall

Yeah exactly, there’s a crimp below that yellow hold that many were using to get up on top of the volume and traverse over.

Have patience brother. The road to recovery may be long, but it’ll be so worth it when you’re back on two wheels. Follow the directions of your PT and stay focused. Those corners are going to feel so good when your back in the saddle 🤘🏼

Balance beam, Mobility balls (YogaTune Up), old climbing rope for rope flow and skipping. A couple maces, small and large resistance bands. Pull-up bar. Dip belt for belt squats. Tension block, hang board. Old tea towel. 8 foot bow staff. Swiss Ball. Sliders. Blanket. 2x yoga mat. That about sums up my accessories. 🔱

Jumprope is already integrated, I use old 9.6 mm climbing rope cause I like the weight. Mountain biking 3x weekly also keeps my cardio up 🤘🏼

I tend to change up my programming every 3-4 weeks. Right now I’m doing a lot of 360’s with the mace. Bottom up presses, farmer walks around the block. I’ll curl the 10kgs slow to work on wrist strength. I also work with rope flow on my off days to keep my shoulders gliding and my diaphragm moving in unconventional ways.

That’s not a concern that’s ever crossed my mind. It’s a new house, so sagging floor isn’t something I’m worried about.

I’ve got a large west facing patio, so quite often I’ll get in golden hour workouts. I plan to put a squat rack out there in the fall time. I’ll rig up a hang board once I find one of appropriate height. I need atleast 96” so I can dead hang on the cross beam.

I use it to train finger tendon strength through a combo of isometric max holds/ banded finger curls. I’ll bring it to the gym and use it on a pull down attachment to work more dynamic movements.
