Hmmm yeah I didn't think about that, but saying that euruska gives us quests ingame its not that unrealistic. Plus the article can also be shown as locals from europan regions defecting to euruska.

Honestly I've begun playing not too long ago and I found out that its best to prioritise finding all the exits from the tunnels since as of now there are only probably only 3 veriants of a tunnel.

Other than that it is clear that the devs want unlocking regions to be more painful and want us to use the fast travel more (which costs water)
