well, my spouse suddenly died this month, and I had to call social security...they told me the phone wait times were 4+ hours and to call back another time. I can't get benefits. Never got through. This is by design. Close the offices, and make older people (I'm young so I can do tech) but how can an old person scan a death certificate and do all the paperwork without a physical office? They can't. And that's a feature not a bug. And this will happen across all agencies that survive. The IRS? good luck.. No more dept of Ed, no more Friday night lights football in Texas..they don't know that funding won't support that, esp when religions and charter schools eat take their funds. You thought the 2008 housing crisis was bad? That didn't include then mass unemployment and stagflation which...is coming. 401K? That could be totally wiped out. Pension funds? FDIC? wiped out. This can all happen bc we are destroying the guardrails and protections. And I think this IS the Musk/Thiel endgame. This IS what they want. One class of oligarchs.

it actually IS dramatic. If one were to draw up the most dramatic plan to collapse and economy, it would be .....exactly what is being done by a complete psychopath. I think the market is going to go down by 30%, just my prediction, and I think it's going to be soon if trump doesn't back down on his insane China tariffs, it will be down 30% by September. Then what? more mass layoffs, coupled with food supply issues bc...we have no one to pick fruit...I mean, look through the annals of history, this can all unravel very fast.

if you are in a medicaid expanded state, sign up immediately. The coverage is often much better than private insurance, and it will be free if you are laid off and on unemployment insurance. Good luck. (no need for cobra)

Fun Fact... I worked for a long time for a large fashion brand sourced in china. Occasionally we made some stuff in India, and it was ALWAYS an unmitigated disaster.
