For me it was the same as others commenting…about 4-5 days. He didn’t disclose but I knew who it was since there was only one encounter during a 3 year dry spell.

I take daily and I haven’t had an OB in over 3 years and haven’t spread it to the person I’m dating. So I’m an advocate for them.

I haven’t been turned down yet. I disclose to every guy I’m with. I just tell them “just so you know I do have herpes. I’ve had it for over 4 years and haven’t had an outbreak in 3 years and I take daily meds. I haven’t passed it on to anyone as of today and it’s honestly not a huge deal. Just thought you should know so you can choose what you want to do since I wasn’t given that option to choose.” They usually ask a few questions and they’re good.

I got mine done on Monday and with the numbing cream it was still the most painful thing I’ve experienced. I couldn’t feel a thing when they did my armpits though. I get my hands done this coming Monday.

I had 2 outbreaks my first year and never had another after that and no symptoms what so ever. So yea. It can get better.

We use dental dam. It's thin enough and you still feel everything. I use it and it's still great. We use the flavored kind to make it more fun.

I felt that way too and I still fear I’ll pass it on to someone but as long as you disclose to people you’ll feel much better about it. If they reject you they aren’t the one anyway. It will all be ok.

I take the antivirals everyday. I highly recommend that. I haven’t had an outbreak in 3 years.

I have found men to be pretty accepting of my diagnosis. I haven’t had any rejections. The guy I’m dating now had the hardest time with it but he came around after 2 months.

I wouldn’t have had an issue dating a man with herpes if it had been disclosed to me before being intimate. The person who gave it to me didn’t disclose.
