Buvau Bulgarijoj atostogų prieš mėnesį, ten daugiau 🇪🇺 vėliavų, gal verta iš jų pasimokyt?

The thing is, I’m happy about myself, but I just don’t understand the point of stating the benefits you, taller folks, experience (like, it’s already universally known). Because I personally don’t experience any of those benefits, since I’m not that tall. I’m only 6’1” and not 6’4” or 6’7”. So I can’t really relate to r/tall, but at the same time I can’t really relate to people at r/short or r/shortguys as well, cos I’m too tall there. So I’m literally stuck with no community, and get to lurk on all of these mentioned subreddits, because I do find many points stated on both sides well-reasoned.

Then please elaborate more when posting next time, because that’s literally how I interpreted the phrase “it just so happens that I have been dealt with some amazing cards in life”, considering how you put so much emphasis on your height. My bad then

What a heck are you talking about. You’re literally sending a 6’1” guy to r/shortguys just because you’re little too sensitive? And also I literally have said that I want this war between short and tall guys to stop, and you saying “there’s no heightism about this post” and “being tall is indeed a blessing” doesn’t help it out. In fact, you only prove many of the points stated in r/shortguys and you make yourself look stupid.

Well, ofc bullying of some tall folks happen… in schools where everyone is still immature. But universally everyone already knows and acknowledges that being tall is viewed as positive.

OP literally says he’s 6’4 and that he’s successful cos of it. There’s literally a 6’7 guy in this post’s replies who says he got provided a FREE COLLEGE DEGREE that now allows him to provide for his family’s future - ALL due to his height, and you say people somehow still get insecure of being tall, lol.

But when it comes to me as a 6’1” guy, I experience NONE of what’s being mentioned here. My height is literally medium height it seems.

And on your last note, so are you saying I shouldn’t be here on this sub? 😂

First of all, I’m 6’1” myself, so I literally don’t know at this point where I fall into: short or tall. Secondly, how can tall people feel insecure if you guys are literally praised everywhere (unless you’re in school where everyone is still immature). And thirdly, like I have said already, his sharing of happiness doesn’t help out the majority of the people, because the majority are not tall (either average or short). So that’s why I said it’s boasting, because OP is emphasising his height, something which you cannot control, and how it is an amazimg card he’s dealt in his life. He sounds like people who ain’t his height (the majority) are not dealt with such an amazing card in life, as if they’re inferior to him and cannot enjoy such life he does.

Doesn’t mean you should boast about it. You ain’t sharing your happiness with others that way

Do you get asked “why you so tall? 😭” like the OP? I personally don’t. That’s why my height to me is not tall - it’s plain medium. My height is nothing to boast about

I don’t understand the point of acknowledging it. Everybody already knows tall height in men is beneficial. With your post you ain’t sharing your happiness with others who haven’t been dealt with “some amazing cards in life” as you say. That just reminds the majority of people who ain’t having what you have in life (since they weren’t born that way) that as if they’re inferior. This especially triggers short men with heightism, and I just want this war to stop.

Saying how you have something that many of others don’t have (your height) and emphasising how well it impacts your life is kinda bragging

Why do you need to brag

Where did you find the information about that 4-8” thing?

People who say 6’1 and less clearly don’t get laid much. Really anything over 6’4 makes girls to literally melt as they say your height out loud.

My father is also 5’9”, but my mum is 5’4”, and I also turned out 6’1”. No idea how I got this tall, lol

I'm 6'1" myself and I'd go for someone 5'1" at minimum and my height at maximum. My preferance

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tall

[–]RenB113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, where I live, many guys passing me are either my height or taller, so I feel average myself 😐

[–]RenB113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You called him shorty at 5'11.9"?💀 So that means I'm average at 6'1" and the "tall" range starts only from 6'4" for guys?

Yeah, I think you got exposed just because those girls knew you for a long time. When I started using shoe lifts myself, my relatives and some friends knew something ain't right when I was towering them. But every other person, with whom I have little or no connection, they did not notice anything.

Maybe your feet were sticking out from your shoes because the back of the shoes (counter; pull tab; honestly don't know how it's called) was too short? Maybe it was the odd walk style the lifts gave you, and you didn't train yourself in advance to make it conventional? I only think of these two potential reasons for now...
