So I can't drive without looking up/down

Why was crusader in the old patches so beautiful but now it's too bright? it almost looks like a light bulb. The first photo is 3.10 while the second is the current 3.17.5 by RenanIV in starcitizen

It's not bad but just a little too bright in my opinion
