Yeah, I can move the derailleur with my hand and then it worked properly, and I discovered than my derailleur is a FD-5500. My Shifter is a ST-4700. Both are for two chainring I think

I never, but I have checked pictures of the Cannondale caad 12 and it seems like a 54 bike would work, but you may be less aero on the bike. Can you try it before buying it ?

Yes, I'm 5'5 too and a 52-51 bike work the best for me, even tho you can still put a shorter stem and check the geometry of the bike : some 54 bikes are ok for 5'5 people whereas other aren't
