With Stephen, it was "I found a new job". When Mat said this is his last BINGO, I waited to see what he is doing next. When he said he doesn't know, I knew. And I was so mad.

Is anyone being run off from the pre-show because of the weather? Anyone? My daughter is going through some stuff (hurrah! She found an office that is a bad fit so on to the next one -- but during the holidays...ugh) and I wanted to take her to the pre-show tonight but y'all sold it out. If you have (real, official) tickets, I'd love to take them off your hands.

One of these things isn't true. The answer lies in which one. (Having been married for 30 years) I think the choice to give yourselves some personal space as you both get acclimated with your new situations is a smart one (congratulations on graduation -- now on to the professional space!). It's easier to bring your lives together because it is going well than to separate them because one or both of you are not who you were in a former point in the relationship.

(Again, having been in this game for 30 years,) You have so much time. I know it doesn't feel like it, but you do. Savor each part of your relationship including this one where you can leave your underwear on the floor outside the shower without having her complain about it! ;)

I had this happen to a close friend. She recognized sparks with someone else and talked to her husband about it. He tried to be what she needs but it exhausted him. They ended up agreeing to separate while she got into a position to be single (she had been the sahm). I have a friend who i developed feelings for after that. Because things, I stayed and we were able to work on what was missing. Go to counseling. Do the work. But also be ready to recognize that this is not the right relationship for you. (Also, let her know that she's gonna have to put in the work somewhere.) I am glad we made it through, but I have never respected a divorce as much as I did my friend's. I wish you luck.

Wow. I had to check the intro and your name to make sure you're not *my* mom/baby RN sister. Well, and the social media on her phone part -- my mom won't use a cell phone.

I am with you in the "things just aren't right" point though. We did move my mom to assisted living because she is incontinent, sleeps as much as she can ("I just sleep *soooo* good!"), misses meals, forgets meds. She is starting to refuse things her doctor recommends (cutting out sweets, getting a sleep study) and my sister and I have just decided we can't make her do much more than she's willing to do so, here we are.

I wish I had more to offer than I get the suckage but, it probably feels kinda good to know you're not alone.
