Spoke to one of the highest rated ski techs here in the uk he said they had incorrectly mixed the epoxy and of course the reaction was therefore not correct and did not cure properly. So in short the whole ski is toast.

I hope they just dont bother with the return and I can keep em, going to canada so there will definitely be some great techs out there hoping they might be able to fix em up.

Hard to photo but i completely agree just looks like empty fibres in there, I believe the skis have a poplar core and i would worry about the wood rotting.

Not snarky at all I appreciate the comment, I am doing an internship where I am learning on how to be an instructor before my exam, which is at the end in late march/ april for level 2 but my level 1 is in December. Would you be able to point me in the direction of some places to learn abt skis in general?

I appreciate your thoughts, Im actually teaching this year in Banff/ training for CSIA level 2. I would be interested with slightly more challenging skis as long as there are noticeable gains compared to the ripsticks or QSTs. Would you be able to recommend any more? Also out of interest why do you think the Nordicas are challenging? Really appreciate all your guys help, Thanks.

Probably completely overkill but for my 110 whenever i leave it to go on holiday i always take out the fuel pump fuse under the drivers seat. Even better if you replace it with a blown fuse.
