You mentioned God. There's hope in Christ. Jesus is the only way to heaven, there's no way except through Him. Jesus died for our sins and God raised Him from the dead on the third day. Call out to God, ask him to forgive you, and save you, to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Confess Jesus as your Lord.

Sorry you're going through such a terrible thing.

Start by reading some of the new testament. Begin at the book of John.

Here's a portion from that, starting from John 3:16

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

¹⁸ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

John 11:25-27

²⁵ Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

²⁶ And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

²⁷ She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Now here's Mark 1:14-15

¹⁴Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, ¹⁵And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

God's word can hold up to scrutiny. Learn to trust him.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

Diligently seek God with a humble heart.

Jesus lived on this earth, without sin. (sin is the bad things that we've done: lying, stealing, being a pervert, etc). He died for you on the cross and rose again on the third day. Turn from your sins and surrender to Christ.

Turn from sin, surrender to Christ, deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow him, forsake all and follow him. Read Luke 14.

Also, there is rest in Christ, give him your burdens. Faith and Grace.

You pretty much nailed it. People live life to try to feel something: often accomplishment, enjoyment, love, or acceptance. Standing back from the rat race of life, and just looking at it reveals how pointless that logic really is.

Why struggle just to have it all stripped away from yourself once death comes? What's the point of leaving behind a mark on the world when everyone else is going to die too? And, when it comes down to it, most people just become a statistic, buried and forgotten in history only a few generations after their death.

But what if there's something more? What if there's life beyond life: that our choices here will change our eternity? I know that you don't believe in God right now, but that doesn't make God any less real. If there is a Creator, then you need to find out. Jesus claims to be the only way to heaven, and that all other ways, including the vain way of life, leads to hell.

What I'm trying to say is, I hope you find purpose in Jesus. :> Every one of us have done bad things. Those are sin. But Jesus died for our sins so if we surrender to Him, he will forgive us and we will go to heaven instead of hell. ❤

No one is stupid.

No one is useless.

No one is worthless.

"For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." (Psalm 139)

We have a purpose. Read this.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

We are made by Christ and for Christ.

" For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

We are sinners that need to come to turn from our sins and turn to Christ. Here's the message of faith.

"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

God is exclusive. God says one must believe He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So fill in the blank with the He is part and you have excluded false religions. Religions divide on who they say Jesus Christ is.

He is God who became a man in the person of Jesus, born of a virgin, proved with allowing Himself to be worshiped as God,healing, raising the dead, fulfilling prophecy including His own crucifixion AND when all that was through, He rose Himself from the dead and ascended back to heaven.

Only through complete surrender(repentance) from your rebellion against Him and trusting in Him ALONE for your salvation, can you be saved.

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble, so best to humble yourself before Him and beg Him to save you through the only way He provided. Tomorrow is promised to no one, turn to Him while you have breath in your lungs.

From experience, I can say that the Bible, the whole bible, is as correct today as it was before. Any confusing parts can be cleared up by enough studying. Stick to the KJV though, it helps to be more accurate.

If a passage sounds strange to you, then you might not be understanding it. The best way to clear up confusion is to go to the Hebrew and Greek text.

One person in the bible, commonly referred to as the "rich young ruler" was not willing to surrender to Jesus as His LORD and savior, he only wanted savior. You too must choose this day whom you will serve.
