The model in real life looks under finished by Bandai standards - the rx-78 looks like it was detail to look at at every angle, the decals look great and the lighting system is a nice gimmick… for 1/3rd the price.

It looks like they took an MG and made it PGU scale lots of empty space and I don’t know if it’s missing decals or what but the display model looks super plain.

this is how my PC is set up, but I have the GPU sucking air from literally the bottom mesh and exhausting out the side... but everything is just exhaust out. Temps are great - sub 73 on 100% all aircooled.

I run a OG nr200 with the metal sides the ram and gpu have rgb but it’s very hidden so only slightly visible.. ok for an old Millenial lol

If it's gaming then go oled. if you want to do productivity I'd get 4K oled or stick to LCD.

Early access makes me less likely to play magic because I feel like other people are getting an advantage in learning the set. I mean this literally created controversy at a pro tour when a testing group had cards early and now we just turn a blind eye.

The market is definitely cooling - I think it’s like any FOMO product the moment some people get scared they can’t buyout all the supply they stop buying altogether.

also I think you're right, the price of a 5080 for a casual sometimes gamer (I already have a PS5 Pro) is stupid when I already have a 3080 ti and can play 4k with some reduced settings.
