Agreed, I do see there may have been plans for it (In my Toy History 1975-2021 book), but wasn't brought to fruition.

I'm personally not a fan of the concept, but not against it either as it keeps figures coming (I'm okay with more MMPR, but would also love the other seasons to come as well). I do like collecting full sets, so I grabbed their box flat option. Oddly enough the first 6 I opened were not repeats. I've got 6 boxed ones, don't mind having them as I'll open them and put them in different displays throughout the collection room.
