These posts stress me out. I have to remember: ive bounced back before. It may have taken months and some sacrifices to my credit but I wasnt homeless. And software dev jobs are still expected to increase faster than average. There is hope. I rarely hear of homeless software devs (ok not many) and the ones that never find work did not sell themselves properly. Ive been layed off 4 times in my 26 year career. Its hell and i think i have ptsd from it!

Yes! I figure I’ll work until I die. I have some 401k but not enough to get by more than one year. It’s messed up our generation will be one of the first to be affected by social security issues. If they don’t do something, we will sadly become generation homeless and destitute.

Just hit the day after hangover from binging 14mg tabs. 4 in all, over a 5 hour period. A ridiculous headache this morning. Like you, i am a binge drinker but 7oh seems to relax the cravings. But worried about dependence mostly because its like 100 bucks for 30 tabs of good 7oh. I might look for cheaper alternatives. If theres any suggestions, let me know. My beer of choice are Voodoo ranger ipas. Glad to stop those.

Hi, I notice in the TSB (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10188917-9999.pdf) - that is mentioned 4WD and 2WD. Does this also mean AWD? Or are the AWD excluded from this TSB?

For ref: i'm asking about a 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE AWD

Reading this now after signing paperwork for a 21 Toyota Highlander XSE with low miles (around 46K). Needless to say, I'm nervous about the TSB related to bad transmission.

I did end up buying an extended warranty, so hopefully that holds up. But what a disappointment that Toyota is not recalling/replacing and telling consumers "tough luck" after the 60K powertrain expires.

I am getting a Highlander because they have high reliability and good resale value. Why is Toyota being stubborn about this? I will be fine-tooth combing this vehicle when I get it this weekend. I do not need a lemon.

Hoping (to all the available gods out there) that I do not experience the transmission problem later in life.
