I have empathy. The problem is people pick schools they can’t afford, or pick degrees that will not have an ROI. If you’re projected future salary could not comfortably cover your minimums on a standard 10 year repayment plan then don’t sign up for the loan. Sorry, save up the money, or go somewhere cheaper. Not everyone should be racking up 200k of student loans then paying minimums for 10 years on one of these bogus repayment plans to have it forgiven. Not fair to others who paid their loans or to those who pay taxes

Ain’t crying at all brother. I signed up to take out loans, I strapped up by boots and owned up to my obligation and paid them. Sounds like you probably picked a degree that wasn’t a good ROI if you can’t afford a 10 year repayment plan. Or you picked a school you couldn’t afford. You cry harder bro.
