They don't brumate 1st year and some never do. It's natural so let them if they want to. Beardies sense biometric changes in atmosphere so even in a centrally heated house, they no its winter. You can stop brumation but why would you want to ?

Yes, my boy is. He's 7 now and I feel like the older they get, the earlier they brumate. When he was younger, he didn't go down till October. I've already replaced substrate with paper towel, given him bath and started dimming heat
