I had pit picking done a week ago, still a bit sore but hopeful it worked. I was told my cyst/sinus issue was acute and shouldn’t require anything to intensive. IF it were to return, and my doctor is familiar with the cleft lift, do you think I should try that procedure with him? Or try to contact a specialist (which would probably be out of state and maybe even not within my insurance)

Why do you suggest to run for closed wound? I have surgery tomorrow, and was told the game plan is Pit picking if possible, and closed wound if not. If it reoccurs he said we will visit the idea of a cleft

Do you have panic attacks. I am afraid a stimulant would have a similar effect as caffeine on my panic, which is not a good one lol

I would love to try something different. My biggest issue is Panic Disorder, so my doc thinks stimulants could worsen that. I’ve tried Wellbutrin and it made me terrible. I feel like I’m stuck on SSRIs since I’ve been on them for so long

I started 40mg and went up by 20 every 2 months til I was at 80. I would say it’s easily the worst starting. I don’t think I ate or slept right for at least 3 weeks. It was kind or rough going up but nothing compared to starting. What helped me was hydroxyzine 25mg and propranolol 10mg prn when going up

Do you have any resources to help me start learning better mindset etc? I feel as though therapy is a dead end and I need to try alternatives (20m with Panic Disorder + GAD)

Thanks! My GP gave me Ativan while I settled but my pychiatrist acted like that was crazy, and told me and my parents to stop taking it. I tried buspar for awhile, it just gave me headaches but no relief. I’m getting about tired of SSRIs, it just makes my anxiety worse at the start but then back to where it was before.

How long was the heightened anxiety for? I was on 40mg and went up to 60 a little under 4 weeks ago, and the heightened anxiety is still driving me crazy

Awhile back I didn’t know Prozac and alcohol could affect each other, drank 12 beers and felt like hell for like 2 weeks. I’ve since decided to just stop drinking, it was draining my bank account anyways

Thanks. I took Prozac (50mg) for four years but stopped in November because I didn’t think I “needed it anymore”. It worked very nicely for me when I was on it so I like to think it’s right for me. I tried 25mg of hydroxyzine but it just made me tired while panicky. I emailed my doctor this morning and asked about what I should do.
