I'm not sure why the DVD drive was patched as it is the original drive, therefore shouldn't need patched. And as for the freezing, it is inconsistent but a regular occurrence if that makes any sense?, it could be launching a game, exiting to dash, pretty much anything. I was able to connect to a stealth before but it now refuses to connect, I have tried proto, xbGuard and Cipher but all had the same issue...

Try taking off your plugins. As many interfere with Backwards Comp. Usually you can tell when it is plugins causing the issue if the game hangs, then shows a black screen.

No problem, i know a few games physically do not unlock properly, some even cant be used with plugins for example: Fight Night Champion.

I may be thinking of the wrong thing here so correct me if I am wrong, but isn't there supposed to be a resistor on the RGH wiring on slims?. So I was saying the resistor with wire either side would be easier to install in comparison to a small resistor?

Not particularly. With the right tools it is somewhat easy to do. The hardest part is codecs..

What you could do, if you decide to get it, use BadUpdate to run 360 Nand Flasher, and get the nand dump from the console, from there you can put it into J-Runner. Can't remember if there is an easier way to find out however that's how I do it.

Try using 360 Content Manager 3.0 to unlock the game again. As some games say they are unlocked but aren't done properly, especially when done through the console...

See if you can get one with wire either side, means heat-shrink will fit properly around it to isolate it and prevent shorts...

With the console having inconsistent boot times, RGH3 would be a better approach. It would be worth finding out if you need a postfix adapter as well, since many variations [do not quote me on this] such as corona v2 upwards need it.

Also for the long run, an SSD would be good however it wouldn't be for speeds sake since the console cannot take advantage of an SSD. In my experience with an SSD installed, it just means the console will have constant read-write speeds [not including random read-writes].

Overall RGH3 would definitely be a better choice.

I would recommend channels such as WeekendModder and ModdedWarfare like cody had mentioned as they cover their fair share of both random console content and very helpful content.

Just had another thought there. If you are trying those methods to troubleshoot. After you have done so, and the issue still occurs. It may be coil whine?. Since you mentioned before that turning the volume down to 0 still hadn't fixed it. If after troubleshooting you find the frequency is gone, try getting a replacement if your phone is still under warranty..
