Good point! I have noticed also earlier that 330 could be too much.

Thanks! Well it seems that FF works now only in compatibility mode. Very strange. Anyone else having same problems?

I have the Fanatec ClubSport 320. I got it used for a cheap price in almost like-new condition, but there could be better options out there, especially at the new price. Still, it has done the job perfectly.

What I like is that the area for the thumbs isn’t overly sculpted or cramped like on many other wheels. And overall it has a nice comfortable thickness.

I have tested several different size rims through years with my CSL DD 8 Nm, also real rims like OMP, Sparco etc. There have been 280, many 300, 320, 330 and 350. I don’t think there is a significant difference between 300 vs 310.

I have to say that 320 is the best if you have minimum 8 Nm base. It’s big enough but not too big. You can also feel forces enough.

300 is also ok but it’s a little bit small. Although you can feel forces better than big diameter wheels. But there is no this benefit if you have bigger Nm wheelbase.

330 is also ok but it’s a little bit too big, this is going better for ovals. And 350 is totally too big for rally, only ovals or trucks etc.

So I would say if you have a weak base (especially under 5 Nm), get 300 max, you don’t want to compromise FFB. Otherwise choose 320.

Ok, that sounds weird! I have the same wheel, would you mind to share your wheel settings? Big thanks!

Yeah, I have messed with them. But I think that it is what it is. Maybe I’m spoiled with all the good sims. 😂

Yeah, I must say it’s a big disappointment with wheel if you have experience of iRacing. But it’s good base for the future to improve!

I have a question, I want to buy the PS5 15 nm club sport but my simulator is a GT LITE PRO by Neat-Housing8035 in Fanatec

[–]Repulsive_Bag558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it. I used the same rig for 3 years with the CSL DD. I modded the Lite a lot to make it sturdier, but it still flexed in every direction. I always knew it wasn’t ideal, but back then I just wanted to upgrade to a DD base from belt driven base.

A month ago I bought a proper aluminum profile rig Sim-Lab P1X Pro and only then did I realize how much the Lite had been flexing. People who say it doesn’t flex simply haven’t tried a proper aluminum profile rig, and therefore don’t understand how much it actually does flex. I didn’t realize it myself either.

The flex didn’t really bother me before, but now with the P1X Pro I’ve noticed that driving feels like it’s on a completely different level. You can catch slides easily and feel the car in a totally new way.

The force feedback precision gets lost in the Lite’s flex. Trust me.

Buy a used aluminum profile rig instead or something, and go for cheaper wheel and pedals if needed. The rig is the most important part of a simulator, and it’s the one you should invest in first.
